I think your heart is on the right place mate, but i think it might be a bit weird dedicating the cruise when it was really on the car that was lost. Sure it's not a great situation that DJKOR is in but he or anyone else hasn't passed away (thank god). At the end of the day losing a person is hell different to losing a car.

After an absence from the forums (while been busy fixing my car and aquiring a new one!) i'd like to say that i will actually be able to make this cruise in something of the toyota sort.

Great to hear you guys had a nice 'leisurely' Sunday drive. Bummed hard about missing out.

Some bad but good news guys and girls. Unfortunately i cant make the cruise anymore as i am now sporting a superbly broken diff. Should be out of action for quite some time now.

Good news is that i will now be starting the next stage of upgrades which include r31 borgwarner diff with LSD and townace 5 speed (conversion to hydraulic clutch) and subsequential brake upgrade.

Hey guys, I'll be up for this cruise if it is on the 25th. My gearbox doesn't have much life left but i'll be will to send it ut with a bang (quite literally).

I highly recommend the Kinglake route, tis truly an awesome drive (which was unfortunately cut short for me). I can't come to this as i'll be in Sydney.

Hope you guys enjoy it as much as i did ;)

I just read through this whole thread. What a great read. If i had the money i would buy this at the drop of a hat. Shame i never got to see it with the Fins on it. BTW they are speedy racing fins as i wanted them for my car about a year and a half ago.
