Thanks for pointing that one out DJ. I placed the order Friday for it and it was posted the same day. I'm hoping it gets here before Friday as I really want to install it and review it before I'm off to Europe for 3 weeks from Friday. Fingers crossed. If not I'll have something to take my mind off the post holiday depression sure to follow Christmas in London and New Years in Monaco. Back to the wonderful 40 degree weather in Townsville.

Thanks for your help guys. I'm not too worried about the heat. I just don't want paint damage. Every second car in Townsville has marks where the paint has changed colour very noticeably. Yeah, work charging is a bit odd, but they don't own the building, just rent a few floors. Too bad. The company itself is a bit like that. I'll give you a hint: it's one of Australia's most largest and most hated companies, and it's a monopoly even though it's now a private company. Anyone care to take a guess? Awesome to work for but they are pretty tough at times. Can't complain at all.

Hey guys. Just wondering how many of you if any park in the sun on a daily basis. My car sits in the sun in Townsville (hot) all day every day. Just wondering whether anyone has any experience with paint damage and internals damage due to sun and heat. Work charges $120/month for in building parking. Do you think it's worth it? What do you think? Thanks for any advice.

I saw the Aurion about a year ago and loved it. I got a full time job (love it) and here we are. I've had it for around 3 weeks and put around 3,000kms on it. Can't get enough of this car. Toyota did quite a good deal on the car. It was a $25,000 changeover with a paint touch up and wheel alignment getting rid of the old car which needed $1500 worth of work to make it roadworthy. Best decision I've ever made.

Excellent. Thanks for that. I just checked with AAMI and that'll run me an extra $47 a year on my insurance. Not too bad really. I'd say this'll be my first upgrade. That or a strut bar.

Hmm interesting. Thought as much. How do your DBA brakes compare to the originals? The stopping power is great, I'd just like that bit more for emergencies.

Hmm ok. Might have to reconsider the lights. As far as upgrades go, I think brakes will be my first. How much of a difference does the DBA 4000 slotted brakes make in terms of stopping power? I'd like some brakes in line with the Mazda 6 MPS. Any ideas what it'd take to get stopping power like that? They just about bruise your ribs and knock the wind out of you in the passenger seat. Love it.

Awesome, thanks. I'll be sure to give them a call before I get them installed. I think the Auspack especially will really make it amazing. I've had it 10 days and have put 1200kms on it around town. Just can't seem to get out of the thing. Toyota gave me an offer I really couldn't pass up and I'd been looking for about 6 months, so I figured I'd pick it up. Best decision I've made in a while. Might be down in Brisbane in the new year, I'll come check out one of the meets.

How many people in Townsville on this board? Mods to come in the future: - Auspack or other head unit. - Pedders depending on what AAMI says about insurance. - Better Brakes (AAMI again) - Undercar green lights to match the car. Does anyone know about brakes and suspension with insurance? - Adam.
