There is a second hand 1zz fe TRD supercharger on US ebay. I have not contacted the seller so I don't know if they will ship it to Australia. It is currently US $800. My 2002 Corolla Levin idles at about 1600rpm (till it warms up) when it's first started on a cold morning (-1 to 4 deg) Once the car has warmed up (midway on the gauge) it idles at about 700-800rpm Is this nomal to idle so high when cold? Thanks for any feedback.

A couple of years ago I witnessed Gen 3 Commodore do two dyno runs. 1. The first run was with a (two lettered) induction system fitted, and 2. The second was with the induction system removed (and no stock snorkel fitted) which gave a 10 rwkw increase. The guy operating the dyno said he show people with these induction systems that they restrict the amount of air into the engine. I removed the snorkel from my 2002 Corolla Levin, yesterday, and if feels less restricted and gives a nice note at wide open throttle. Once the snorkel is removed you an see how restricted it is. Give it a go! it cost nothing and the snorkel can be refitted if you want.

I went to my local Toyota dealer to buy a cabin air filter for my 2002 Corolla Levin. The dealer told me Corollas did not have them till 2008. I don't believe this is true as the owners manual describes where it is located and how to change it. Has anyone changed one and where did they get it from. Thanks

I have a green 02 Corolla Levin. I brought it last weekend. I wasn't real keen on the colour at first (I wanted at Levin and this was at a good price) but now I love it.
