Yep, I'll just paint mine and add the Angel eye kit myself.
-
BTW - 2XS, that is a great teaser shot :D Hurry up and take some day time ones please!
Yes, you seem to have the only manual one.
I've considered the conversion, but, I enjoy auto after a long day at work.
Here are a few more night time pics, these are the best of a bunch of pics (not best car, just not crap pics)
I'm considering going another 15mm lower still.
-
if only i had 15k.......
Do you want the engine or the interior more?
-
2xs you wouldn't happen to be the owner of the turbo gen 6 Camry in aus? Trying to track him down haha
NO! I believe he is/was from Newcastle area.
I'll turbo mine when/if I find more info regarding the ECU side of things.

A little teaser until I get some daytime shots.

I looked at ones similar to these (without the LED strips).
The shops willing to supply RHD will only do so if I order 50 pairs. LOL
-
Thanks for that, exactly the info i was after..
Cheers
7.4L-7.7L is with a few hills.
On the motorway (which is fairly level) and cruising at 110Km/h (with A/C on) 2 adults and 3 kids and usually averages 6.7L-7.2L/100
-
The books quote 8.9L/100Km for manual and 9.9L/100Km for auto, for combined urban/extra urban driving.
I drive 80kms a day (80-100Km/h zones)with 4 sets of traffic lights and my average is between 7.4 and 7.7L/100.
Around town my car averages about 10-11L/100Km.
I have an auto.
Just don't use E10, for 1.5-3% cheaper fuel, my car used 10% more fuel.

One thing that is out of date but I think should come back is rear window slimeline shields. I think the gen 3 or 4 Camry was the last to have them as an option (?).
Genuine have front and rears.
-
We should call it the Gen 6 owners picture thread!
-
Nice.
I used self adhesive LED strip lights for mine.
Sticky backed, so they can be mounted on the side of the map pocket to clear any "things" that people put in there.
Low power consumption, like that's an issue.
I have blue in the footwells, door pockets and boot.

So you've sold your tivo?
No. I still have it. It's my daily driver.
When you see pics of it (eventually), You will understand that I can't get rid of it.
-
How did Toyota become the #1 car seller again?
I dunno, I just bought a new Ford!
*Puts on flame suit (just to be sure) :P
-
So, the eastern side is covered, now, we just need some from Adelaide, Darwin and Perth. :P
-
ok so where are the pics with coils?
I have to wash it first.
The joys of owning 3 black cars. :(

Did you sold your kings to get coils?
Yes, they are actually in another forum members Aurion now.

I installed the jdm type the other day and like you said it good for rainy days. The oem one i didn't like cos it leaves the silver rim on the window frame which i'm not a fan of. As for tint i prolly won't do it.
Nice.
I bought OEM for the chrome. :)
-
not sure if this would help
Everything helps.
Thanks.

I'm still toying with the idea of turboing my Sportivo.
I can do all the fabrication work myself, so it's not an issue. I have everything already.
What I still need to find is someone who can give me some idea into the ECU side of things.
Has anybody got any info about flash tuning the 2AZ ECU?
Would I require an Interceptor? Or full ECU replacement?
Know any workshops that have some insight into the Toyota ECU?
-
I have both too.
Both have their advantages.
Tint is good for heat, while driving or stationary. Looks play an important part in it too.
The weather sheilds are good for rain while driving and good for when you park the car, you can leave the windows slightly down to allow heat to escape.
Buy the genuine ones from Toyota. They are the best looking weathersheilds I have ever fitted to my cars.
-
Have you forgotten about me Andrew?
Lowered with Kings (super lows)
I'll get some current pics of it (with coilovers)
-
Have you looked at DGR coilovers?
I'm getting in a set for my Gen6.

I'm in Drewvale, not Sunnybank, I just use the car park for the evening shots, because the carpark is always empty.
I bought red and blue for the badge, just in case the Po-Po don''t like the blue one:(
It's easy to fit, pry out the chrome one, feed the wires into a freshly drilled hole, stick the LED badge one then the chrome one back on top.
The LED badge comes with double-sided tape on both sides.
I've got LED strips in the footwells too.
