if you have a full day where you dont need the car you can do a really good diy job for under $50. I bought some headliner/carpet glue or somethin like that 2yrs ago and took the current material to a fabric shop and got pretty much the exact material and colour for $15 for 6 meters (epic cheap), $20 for the glue (online) and $12 for ultrathin foam (not sure if you need it if the material your using is thicker) Pretty much remove the rooflining board thingy, be careful not to break it when taking it out of the car, clean off the rotted existing foam, spray on the glue(sprays out reasonably thick so one even coating should be enough, lay on new material and use a ruler or something flat to flattened it out so you dont get loose patches and your done. Its a pretty vague description of what i did but rest of the stuff is common sense as your doing it youll know what your doing. Dont do it if you need the car a few hours later or something as it might take longer than you think and taking as much time as possible will get the best result. Owner sold the car a year after i did and it still looked factory new

before i gave my laptop to relatives overseas i used to use photoshop every now and then but now im using a 15yr old no brand laptop from china, 128mb ram has to be plugged in to work etc essentially its a piece of crap but thought id give it ago anyway and see how far i get before it dies my chops are kept fairly simple and mainly JDM style i suppose anyways heres the: BEFORE AFTER pretty rough around some of the edging etc but hopefully get a few more done over the coming weeks oh yeh also realised i went from 5 stud to 4 stud lol

car and photos are awesome love the "grill" area its similar to the look ive wanted to achieve on other cars where it looks like the cars going to eat you or somethin B) tuff car and look forward to more photos from you

haha i crown you the winner, dont know what you win though :D , i googled kia, renault, hyundai etc everything other than suzuki i reckon this morning when i was driving i was looking at every car to see if i could find the same one, was goin crazy if i find any other random bumpers in the future :P ill post it in the club lounge for people to try and identify it

haha not really collecting bumpers but i was at my friends house(mechanic) and he said they were going to be chopped up and thrown in the skip and saw that they were in reasonably good condition so i took em and thought i could make a couple of bucks to go towards the car, as you can see in the pics i got a whole bunch of parts sitting there which i dont really need but sometimes you cant help collecting random crap

i know what you guys are getting at by the vt/vy commo thoughts but im still sure its off a newer car. The grill area is just the backing for the grill not the actual grill like on vt bumpers. Also apart from the newish looking fog light surrounds and the centre lower grill area it has parking sensor holes (i think) at the bottom of the bar Heres a better pic since you guys seem interested in finding out/helping me :) Now im thinking its possibly off a hatch lol i got no idea

definitely not VT i think, and dont think its a VY either, vy has the fog lights directly in the bumper by itself with no surround/grill, i reckon its off a fairly new car max 4yrs old do you think its alright if i post a better pic or would it be considered off topic since im in the camry forum? haha dont wanna start ****** people off since ive just returned

thanx andrew357 and addy287 - haha never used ebay to sell anythin and doubt i ever will as long as there are forums etc around, so much easier but yeh plan was to make a couple of bucks because its in pretty good condition just needs a clean. can someone explain to me the square cut out bit? at first i thought it was for some sensor insert as ive seen same size square inserts in the front/rear of other cars i have some pretty wacked up ideas in regards to the bumper and an angle grinder but it would be a waste imo

Hey guys, i picked up this front bumper off a mechanic friend and just wanted to get it specifically identified. Firstly i thought it was off a gen 5 camry but half of them on the road i saw had a different type so i wasnt 100% sure. If it is from a Gen 5 which year and model variant would it have come from (ateva, altise, etc) Thought this would be the best place to ask :D If you wanna have a stab at the white one in the background feel free to, thinking commodore or possibly cruze.

Hey guys, i joint up last year in the hope of learning more about camrys and hopefully getting some mods done over time. When i joined up i was driving my mums Gen 4 - 1999 Camry CSI Sedan (Dark Blue) but a few weeks after joining up and making about 20 posts on the forum i ended up purchasing a S13 Silvia and essentially left the forum But now im back after relatively doing most of what i wanted to the S13, i now want to make the camry a bit more individual (have a few ideas lurking in my mind) and have built a decent contact list for nearly everything car related since i left. Ill start up a members ride thread for the camry and possibly the s13 in the coming weeks. Thats my life story :P but hopefully i can stick around for sometime and get to know everyone

nice car man like the last 4 or so shots, where were they taken? also whats at the top of your list for mods? ive had wheels at the top of mine but seems like it will take me ages to find some good used ones( im too poor to buy them new :P)
