  1. Sorry, but has anybody found a CAI kit for a 7afe? (AE112) Been looking around, and would prefer to get one made for it instead of getting a custom CAI..
  2. Hi all, Well I'm currently looking at getting some xenon style headlight globes for my '99 AE112R Sedan, problem is I don't know exactly what type of globes they need.. Supercheap Auto are telling me I need HB3's and HB4's meanwhile Repco is telling me I need H4's... could someone please confirm what is correct? (supercheap auto actually inspected the car) Cheers!
  3. Basically... - K&N panel filter, remove resonator in front bar and re-route new piping front hole in front bar to air box. Sure will breath better and little more noise. - In my sedan I've got King Lows and KYB Excel G twin tube shocks. Quite stiff in front that's for sure. Rear is ok. Front with lows on 14s is quite low already. I scrap over quite a few car park speed bumps as is (that is without mud flaps). - For standard looks can get an AE101 or AE111 Toyota Levin Genuine 3 point front strut brace or more effective would be Whiteline 2 point strut brace. - I recommend 2" exhaust, high flow cat and make sure you get a good muffler (Lukey is good) not a cheap crappy straight through Cheers for the advice. The exhaust shop recommended by most people in Perth quoted $340 for a 2.25" catback exhaust, is this a good price? Where abouts should I pick up a CAI?
  4. The words Seca and sedan contradict each other - the Seca is the liftback/hatch, the sedan is, well, the sedan. But apart from that, what you have mentioned is pretty much the standard basic way to mod an AE112, I'd suggest getting new shocks along with the springs (KYB Excel Gs are the best cheap option). Sorry mate, the owner made a mistake - It's actually a 99 Corolla Conquest sedan. How much would I be looking at for some decent spring/shocks and a sway bar? Anyways heres a pic of it http://img33.imageshack.us/i/dscf5350.jpg/
  5. Hi all, Well a rare opportunity has come up for me to purchase a '99 Corolla Seca sedan, I was wondering what are some basic modifcations I can do to make it handle/perform better. I have done some reading on this forum (and others) and was thinking something along the lines of a 2.25" exhaust with high flow cat and 4 - 1 extractors, and a CAI? handling wise I was thinking of lowering on king spring lows + strut brace & sway bar? please note that I'm on a budget so no coilovers etc. Could you recommend somewhere in WA I could buy the springs/have them installed and the CAI? Cheers!
