Looks good mate. Zip down to Supercheap (or your auto store of choice) and grab some more mesh and put a second layer in to darken it up a bit. You can also use the mesh to stretch the middle of the grill up so it sits flush with your bonnet. You might also like to check how its sitting with that black plastic engine cover thing (technical language... I know) - that cover should actually pull the grill up if you have it sitting right.

... guess that's why that boot lid spring isnt standard across the range
Time to get an AT-X boot lid spring??

Spotted Matt (mattmcd1) at 7:40am heading north on the Bruce Highway (yes... the M1 Dee). Followed him for the 16 minutes it took to get from the Wild Horse Mountain exit to the Maroochydore exit where I continued on north.
Wow... that's a fairly detailed "spotted" :)
I spotted Daryl too, heading north, speed: approximately 110km/h, tyre tread: approximately 80% on the rear... he was wearing a button up shirt.

Saw this and can't decide if I like it. It's a rear logo that would be wired to glow white when the headlights are on, then red when you put your foot on the brake.

Looks good but what's with the holes in the spokes?
Speed holes?

19" - 'Polished Black' finish
Thoughts?

That's awesome.

Looks good mate! Was it pretty easy to do?

Progress shots??

Picture 2 or 3 in my opinion. Definitely not the darkest one IMO.

I've had a set of Toyo MP4s recommended to me... does anyone have any experience with these tyres??

Ash, you live right near me. I'm not really sure where to go, can I follow you?

I must say, after today I was tempted to try a DIY repair... I resprayed my grille a nice matte black. The very first time I washed my car with that grille on, the paint chipped in one corner and I've been meaning to respray it ever since. I finally took it off today and sanded it back, then resprayed it. It came up a treat!! I'm quite impressed with how well it worked. A grille is one thing though, I don't know if I'm game to attempt spraying my car...

Ok, here are some pics. I know it's not THAT bad, but it's enough to annoy me.

I had planned on taking the front bumper off today anyway to replace my parkers, so I'll try touch it up as best I can. I'm just not sure what's worse: the scratch or the look of a dodgy touch up job.
-
Let me know where in the city (by pm if you're not comfortable posting it here) you parked - I know the damage isn't great but people who do this are real scum and the effort should be made to ensure they are discouraged for this sort of behavior.
Cnr of Mary St and George St in the city, about 4 car parks down Mary St. Damage isn't huge, but they woulda known they had hit me and still just drove off.

The day started ok... had my last exam, got home, uni holidays have started. Stoked. Went back out to my car to grab my bag and noticed that SOME ****WIT HAS HIT ME!! Must have happened on Saturday night. I'd say they must have glanced me trying to NOSE into the REVERSE park in front of where my car was parked in the city.
The front bumper is scratched in a few places on the driver's side corner - no dents though. Enough damage to annoy me, probably not enough to justify the excess on an insurance claim. Will post photos tomorrow when I've calmed down...

Front Strut + Rear Sway installed. Best $380 I ever spent!!!! Took it for a bit of a run tonight with my brother (just to verify that it was not all placebo effect)... He drives a Supra and has always complained about the handling of the big Aurions, but even he is now impressed with what they can do around corners. Love it.

Mine does that too... it sort of sounds like the fan in the unit is struggling a bit. I just turn mine off and then back on again, sometimes a few times, until it stops. Dodgy though....

Came home to find this waiting for me... nice way to end the day!
[Dodgy picture courtesy of dodgy phone...]

I get a bit over 700km from a tank using BP Ultimate. Half of that is highway driving, the other half is city/suburb driving. Just my 2 cents...

Count me in! I haven't actually managed to be able to get to a Brissy cruise/mountain run yet, so unless someone wants to organise one before then, this should be as good a chance as any!!
