I've just pick up the car yesterday afternoon, so the displayed car isn't mine, i found a similar picture on carsales.com ^^ I will upload my own pic soon. I went to the service center today and they fixed the toyota link, I have read the other forum, and i am very sure that the dealer did not initialise it for me >.<. Anyway it's working now, and i showed them the funny smell from engine, they said it's because it's new, and should not happen within a month ... I hope it's true. I also find there's a little scratch at the rare of the car, I raised it straight away, and they said they will fix it at the 1st service, should I get them to fix it? it's very hard to c, I m worrying they might cause some other problems if they pull it out and repaint again >.<

Guys there's burning rubber smell comes out of the engine and aircon after i drive my Aurion for a while, is it normal? I've just got the car for one day, is it the new car thing? or something is wrong? Please help me, thanks a lot. Besides they toyota link thing isn't on in my aurion, i asked the dealer to initialize it for me, but he said i have to do it myself, but there has no light on, it;s totally off, not red or green, i pressed all the buttons and it won't turn on, should i go back and ask him again?

That would be pretty cool, but will that damage your engine? and how do you add full size pictures in to reply? i tried but i can only add reduced version.

Similar discussion in relation to the Smart Entry system can also be found in the following thread: About the smart key ... if you go out of range while the engine is running, the engine will still continue to run and it will just keep chiming and showing the "KEY IS NOT DETECTED" message on the dash. If the engine is stopped though using the Start/Stop button, it can not be started up again until the key is brought back in range.

Hi guys, here is a silly question: After you started your car with push button start, what if you carry the smart key out of the detection range (i.e. >1m) away from the car, will the engine automatically shut itself? and if you do this will it damage your engine? Cause sometimes you might need to quickly pick up something from outside and don't want to restart the engine within say 30 secs. Thanks in advance guys!

Hi guys it's me again, I would like to ask something about insurance, the Toyota sales ppl were recommending Toyota insurance to me, i don't know if i should change or not, is it better compare with AMMI or NRMA? I'm currently with NRMA, but Toyota ppl told me when i got Toyota insurance i can get 3 year full new car price covered while NRMA only have 2, and Toyota insurance will use the genuine parts as well, they are also about $100 cheaper than NRMA. Has anybody bought insurance with Toyota before? or anybody know how it's like compare to NRMA or AMMI? Really appreciate your help. thanks in advance guys.

actually before i decide ordering the car, i liked the fancy features it offered, and i really liked the exterior look of the presara, but i'd prefer ZR6's interior, the dealer told me you can't get both >.< so i m thinking go with the exterior and c what i can do with the interior, it's majorly the color and the wooden part on the steering wheel. also considering reselling, different color tape will protect the surface of the nav unit and at the same time make it a little more suitable in appearance for me i guess, if there's better way please help me, i am out of ideas, and i don't want to spend too much extra >.<
