  1. The following information is from "KeyShek" from the UK Toyota Estima Owners Club (http://www.estimaownersclub.com/). I tried it out last night and the instructions are correct. Posting info here incase anyone else needs it. "The curved cowel that goes around and above the stereo is held in place with some clips, all you need to do is to pull it straight out towards the back of the car. The best way i found, was to first move the auto shifter out the way (if yours is auto) by inserting the key, turn to ACC position, move shifter all the way down. Next, using an old credit card or similiar, find a gap to insert it into at the top of the surround, nearest to the gauges. Then get your fingers behind the card, and pull the whole assembly forwards, stabilizing/guiding it with your other hand. To remove stereo, simply unscrew the 4 screws around the stereo and the whole unit will come out. Use these same brackets to mount your aftermarket unit."

  3. Hi guys, I'm an Aussie living in Malaysia and I've got a 2002 Estima LX 4x4 (Tarago). Stereo has died and I need to remove it. Any ideas on how to get the dash apart to remove the stereo on these things?? Cheers, Rod.
