CEL came on after disconnecting the MAF sensor? How to fix?

drive it around abit ECU should pick it up and turn it off. did u clean the MAF?

Disconnect the battery and reset the ECU. May as well.

I didnt clean the MAF, just disconnected the plug to get good access in and around the intake area. I drove it for about 45 minutes and it went away. I also did an ECU reset, didn't like it putting out 8.6L/100
