ahh sounds good! i changed my gearbox oil to Redline and adjusted the clutch, i can sorta get into gear however theres still times where it gets stuck. Good to hear that changing the clutch fixed your problems i might do the same next. Keep us updated if it happens again anytime soon though!

anyone got one for the 03 sportivo?

thanks for the reply, noise is coming from around the engine bay area, sounds like a loose chain or a disc vibrating against something when it is decelerating.

geez i just read that link. that person DOES sound like a little kid chucking a tantrum <_< blue-bear - give em ur VIN number and they should know exactly whats been done to it... not sure if they will replace the ECU if it hasn't been done so in the past. i also remembered that they really gear selector cables? its in my warantee reciept so dont hold me on that... GL mate :D kenshin, i gave them my VIN number and they said there were no outstanding recalls :D, they're quite good at castle hill toyota, one of the most helpful places. ah, Kenshin, on a seperate note, i seem to have the same issue as you posted in your other thread with troubles getting into 2nd gear while in lift..

Hey guys, I just want to find out, was there an official recall from toyota aus re: the ECU and intake mod for the prefacelift stivo? Were these the only things? How do i know if it has been done before or not? I had a look through all the service reciepts and can't see anything. I wanna make sure before i call castle hill toyota tomorrow, and provide all the info and to make sure they know what im talking about. Cheers
