  1. -Women applying make up when they're supposed to be driving.

    and men shaving whilst driving

I never get sick of saying this story but,

I once saw a guy doing weights in the car whilst driving.

HELLO?!?! WHO DOES CURLS IN TRAFFIC WITH ONE ARM WHILE STEERING WITH THE OTHER? WHAT DO YOU DO IF SOMETHING BAD HAPPENS? DROP THE WEIGHT ON YOUR LEG?

Otherwise. I'm guilty of alot of those things. I drive with driving/fog lights on in the day, i weave through lanes, dont use a blinker, speed through peak traffic, take off at the lights, zoom up ending lanes and forcing my way into the continuing lane, etc etc etc. But I do pay attention to whats going on and focus on whats going on around me.

  2. SYD - M5 around 645-700

Red facelift sportivo. Rear sportivo bar, towbar, twin tip exhaust.

Looking good man! I want a rear bar so much!

Also, about the preface silver at fleet sales.. I think that used to be in campbelltown for a few weeks. unless theres two of them floating around fleet sales.

  3. haha, oh yeah. me too. I wrote off my first car in the rain by bending the axle to almost a right angle.

I tried to overtake a truck... in the attempt my near bald rear tyres refused. causing me to fishtail and then do a 180... at which point i was face to face with the truck i was trying to overtake - i thought i was a goner... but i slammed hard sideways into the gutter and the truck zoomed past me barely missing me. not a soul stopped to help me. It was so bad.

The right rear wheel was jammed against the body work, the left wheel was trying to escape the guard and the center of the axle was bentso hard it looked like it wanted to touch the ground.

    complete write off.

wow, after the three stories ive told on these forums tonight I really come across as a bad driver...

  4. Warranty? Serious.?...

Thought it would void it since they would notice the impact from the gutter, etc.

Apparently it wasnt that bad. noone worked out what had happened. it made alot of noise and there was a scracth on the rim.

Would this be covered in insurance?

Depends on the cost. Is it worth losing your NCD and having an 'at fault' claim against your insurance history? it haunts you for the next 5 years remember...

  5. The other day, double demerits of course, i pulled up behind the cops at a T intersection. the cop didnt have his indicator on but he was quite obviously all the way over to the right with the ideal of turning right. Not long after i pulled up behind him (i however had my indicator on) he put his left indicator on and turned left a few metres and stopped on the side of the road. In the next gap I turned right when he also did a U-Turn.

a couple of streets later he pulls me over. No right turn.

I told him I had no idea, i was following his lead thats why i didnt look for any signs. After discussing the fact it was double demerits and the fact that I had recently lost my licence for demerit points he let me off.

Would've been interesting if he busted me though. No right turn, Fog lights were on and there was no P plate on the rear.

    Me = teh luckies.

The interesting thing about me and being pulled over is that it's always when I make a mistake. I dont get busted for hitting lift a couple of times leading upto the intersection, but i get pulled over for turning right in a completely empty no right turn intersection.
