I think its safe having the Fuel light come on when there is 10L of fuel left. This gives you enough time and KM's to go to the Service Station and fill up. Especially when driving in rural areas.

This Video may be helpful.
The difference between the video and your sportivo is that you will need to remove the Frame around the Radio first. 2nd - remove/unscrew the stereo, then remove the aircon centre dash. (All trims are held on with Clips)

Bendix brake Pads and DBA Rotors would go well. I dont think there is an upgrade package.
Keep a look out on Ebay, you might be able to score some parts. Also, might be worth calling a few wreckers.
