Insurance wise your not suppose to have anything wider then 7 inch...

I have seen the following sizes on the Gen 5 (without mods).

18 X 7.5 (Kappa)

18 X 8

19 X 7.5

19 X 8 (these were rubbing when turning corners)

If you have windscreen insurance cover then you dont really have to worry about it...

If it needs to be replaced then have it replaced. The Insurance will pay...
