bump price drop $500 need these wheels gone
Its getting tempting, i wouldnt mind putting these on the spare AE112 corolla but ill might have to change the tyres so it meets the RTA specs.

For the first time someone witnessed me entering my driveway, the face he pulled scared me so I asked what was wrong. I now know when entering my RHR wheel lifts off the road and LHR tucks so much.. Ill post a pic later on tonight
haha Poor bloke, i wonder what was going through his mind

Here's Daryls low res final, just to give an understanding of the detail I put into TOCAU members cars,
this is about 18 hours of work all up, alot more than the usual 5-6 hours I spent on that Camry and Corolla, I spent
a good hour or 2 just making a pattern for the mesh in the grille, his one has his custom plates on it and a much higher resolution image as well
Now to start on Ronnies pink Camry :P
Unbelievable......Ok, back to work :P
Oh yeah, dont forget my custom plates :D

Shouldnt you dry out the water/take it out before you seal it up?
he most certainly does, (depending on the amount of water)
Leaving the High beam on for a couple of minutes or even leaving it in the sun usually dries it up.
Or even leaving it in direct sunlight...

Just bringing this to the top again, and to say thanks to members for contributing their experiences with this noise. I had the same thing and this was the first place I came to troubleshoot it!! Exactly the same symptoms as PC XT and RICE RACING. Even told the service guys what I expected the problem was. Left it with them overnight so they could start first thing next morning, and sure enough, 2 seconds of rattle sounding like an old diesel starting.
They are ordering parts to repair under warranty next week. Sounds like a big job with the engine needing to be dropped out to replace parts. In fairness to my local Toyota Service Centre, they couldn't have been more helpful with this issue and have said they will supply a loan car.
They also said they would fix the nudge bar which is a genuine accessory and the service manager implied there was a recall on this too. Does anyone know what the issue is with it??
Anyway, thanks again forum members..
'Taltosss' and anyone else having this noise at the startup should get the car checked out... I have got my car looked at, as I have mentioned in the last post to this forum - I have had pistons replaced, piston rings, vvti cam gears - and today - timing chain, tensioners and guides all replaced... engine was dropped out... now the noise isnt there but will be checking in the morning as it is most prominent in the mornings on cold starts. Another noise that is annoying the sh!t out of me when I pull up to reverse in the driveway, as I put it in reverse I get this clicking noise... i think it could be the brake calipers engaging and then dis-engaging, anyways I am going to take it back and find out wtf is going with that.....
Safe driving to all - hint: try not to go off at the dealers.. this was a pretty hard problem for the engineer guys to diagnose if they can't hear the noise, which was my case for last 12 months almost...
Hopefully this would have fixed the noise issue. good luck :)

Welcome to the club.
With the trip meter give it a few days as see if it gets closer to the 11/12L/100 km mark. If not then you may need to take it to the Service Centre

You can also try that Toyota Air Con Service they do at the Service department, not sure if that will make any difference on the smell.
It usually cost around $100.

the correct fit for 17X 6.5 and 17X7 inch wheels on the corolla is 205/45/17s
215/50 will fit but depending on the cop you can get defected as diameter will exceed the overall recommended size.

If its the Toyota New car or Extended bumper to bumper warranty then it should be fine.
If its those Dealer Mechanical Extended warranty where you can only get the vehicle serviced at the dealer you purchased it from then it may impact the warranty....
