Im now only looking to spend $1400 max because just about to move into new place so my Car funds going elsewhere

The K&N Typhoon arrived this afternoon just after i carried out Wynns fuel treatment and Rotate and balance, So spent a little longer on my car than expected but oh god it was worth it :D

I Had a quick check today and found my boot vent had popped out again and was the cause for the leak

I have the same problem, I got my boot vent replaced with the updated version recently and thought that fixed it until check on weekend and found a puddle of water :( Ill climb in my boot tomorrow hopefully and find where its leaking.

Hey guys Im searching for some 19's or 20" wheels to keep me out of trouble I would prefer black with chrome lip although not very fussy, If anyone knows of someone thinking about upgrading or wanting to get rid of a set please pass it on tyres included would be better :) cheers, Blake

" You explained it to the other perfectly. unfortunately this is warranty issue so i was unable to further inspect the unit but next week im wanting to do further investigation why this happens.. It does sound like the lock pin as you explained before. BTW if only the Aurion had the half moon in the timing cover case you wouldn't have to remove the whole assy

Sorry but im terrible at explaining things.. for instance your driving on the highway with your aircon on with recirculate activated, this will build up a vacuum inside the cabin and when you give it a bootful the gasses from the exhaust can enter through the boot vent positioned LH side behind the trim and enter the cabin hopefully that explains a bit if you didn't know If you want me to blabber on i can try make more sence

Okay i noticed on a cold start sometimes their was a knocking/rattle noise heard from the engine compartment lasting maximum 1 second, After diagnosing found it was the VVTI Intake controllers failing. So spent 12hrs removing engine and changing the gear over. how much detail did you want buddy?

Hey guys Well for the first two days of the working week i removed my front half of my Aurion: dropped the lower cross member including engine, trans and steering. Replaced my VVTI Controllers for intake on both banks Reason behind is on cold start the controllers rattled for 1 second indicating 'warranty time' i have some crappy pics that ill post once i find my phone cable cheers

I gave her a very good clean, spent 3 and half hours washing, clayblocking and making sure she was pretty. Shes smooth as a babies bum Oh yeah and fitted the grill

Im now on a hunt to find some black rims in 19" Should i go for Green wall or Green lips? Does anyone know of somewhere in Brisbane who does coloured walls.. And how easy would it be for someone to paint the lips??

Haha great minds think alike.. i have been reading up on suspension and checking for what rims to get. I was planning to get the same model in blue but found this and went for it.. :P

Okay so i gave the car a bit of clean and took some photos.. Im pretty crap but when i get some mods done my mate will do a photoshoot :)

Yeah hopefully tomorrow i will clean it again and take few pics.. Mods planning to do is 19" rims (havnt chosen yet) New Y-joint, and change exhaust system.. CAI and update the stereo.. These will hopefully be done soon and then more ideas will roll on Ohh plus grill, eyelids and getting my tint done darker soon.. Do you know when the next group buy will be for grills and lights? cheers. Blake

Cheers mate, yeah i have been on the forums for a month or so but only in shadows.. Im from Gladstone in central Queensland. Im a 3rd year mechanic for Toyota and after working on Aurions for few years now knew that it was ideal car for me.
