  1. Here I am SuperDave !! hahah Here's my run down. It's a real BFYB stock car Comparable to a stock Sportivo in terms of track times, drag times etc. No problem with powering out of corners as someone mentioned above, maybe it's your driving ? NO LSD, but comes with ESP Small / cute (the chix love it) Very fuel efficient for a performance vehicle Not safe ? Said who ? 4 out of 5 starts NCAP rating Very torquey Plastics feel ... plasticky ... but great level of standard goodies. Some cars can be problematic but warranty sorts all that kinda stuff out - much better than any other brand. Renault know the cars aren't made exceptionally well and they are more than happy to sort things out for you under warranty. How do I know ? I own one :D
  2. Look on their site ... Vehicle Handbook Service A lot of people think that when they need to have their car serviced, they must go back to their dealer because it is under manufacturer's statutory warranty. It's not true. We are able to service your new car during the warranty period. When it comes to having your car serviced, you do have a choice. You can take it back to your dealer, or you can bring it to UltraTune. What's more, after you've had your UltraTune service, we will stamp your handbook with an Ultra Tune stamp as a record of regular maintenance (it's well established that a regularly stamped handbook can result in a higher resale value for your car). So now you know you have a choice ... why choose UltraTune? We'll fit in with you. UltraTune centres specialise in expert vehicle maintenance. Our highly trained technicians just service cars. That means UltraTune can offer you a far better chance of having your car serviced at a time that suits you. We're fast, efficient and cost effective The unique UltraTune system is a structured series of operating procedures which ensures faster, more efficient and cost effective service. This innovative system is responsible for the successful maintenance of thousands of fleet vehicles across Australia. If we can't do it, we'll say so! UltraTune's expertise and industry "know-how" have established long-standing relationships with component manufacturers. In the majority of cases, we'll be able to give you excellent service. However, if for any reason we don't have the equipment or access to parts to do the best job possible ... then we'll say so.
  3. i think that the warrantee is only void for the suspension components if you've modified the suspension... i.e if you have an engine failure it should still be covered. However its only if they somehow can prove that the lowered car contributed to it, say if an engine component is rubbing on the ground or something due to the car being too low... but I beleive technically if the modification and the failure are unrelated, then you will still be covered. That said i think those 'checks' are full of crap... all they do is tap around with spanners and have a look... for $99 i wouldn't bother... if they do the service properly, they should have already covered anything that could go wrong. mopiko as in the cream for mozzie bites ? I tells you what they do at that service, they loosen bolts and cut cables so you have to go back in 12 months to fix those items :P (that's a bit ctnical isn't it)
  4. If someone gave me a gift voucher, then HELL YEA ! Yes, I'm from Syd
  5. Dude, if he took it slower, he would've come out ok.
  6. def. too hot .. and unfamiliar with the track too !!
  7. WEnt in the corner WAY too hot + it's raining .. probably his first lap !
  8. With anything aftermarket, if they can pin the fact that the 'modification' caused the problem, they will not cover you. I am pretty sure it says somewhere in the fine print of warranty that whenever a car is modified, warranty becomes void ...
  9. What other motor choices did you have in mind that actually fits in the engine bay of the MRS ? If you are after something screaming fast, then starting with the 2zz was not the smartest move, but if that's the only engine that fits reasonably easy (and cheap) and it's faster than your previous motor, then be happy with it ! The fact he is saying that it feels slow just means that. No argument about how many HP this 1.8 litre motor produces ... Were you happy with the 2zz when you had a ride in it ? I am sure you would have had a drive in a car with a 2zz to see what they are capable of before deciding to dive in and do the conversion ? Right ?
  10. mainly for more rice (+ weight saving)
  11. She caused it, but he will have to pay for it. I hate people pulling out like that.
  12. http://www.smh.com.au/news/national/disabl...5407883835.html Man these people ****** me .. especially when I have spend 30 minutes looking for parking on a Friday night in the city ... I reckon 'chasers war' should catch these people out on National TV and embarass the ****** out of them. Nothing against people who use it legimately of course. RTA needs to review the current scheme .. perhaps have a time limit for the users of the sticker, a discount, more extreme fines and revoking the sticker for misuse
  13. heh heh Just remember pedestrians have right of way, no matter how craay they look .. and they can always **** up your car when you park and leave it there. . . . Best not to have a beef with a pedestrian or someone in a carpark for that matter !
  14. This if 4 your new car ? If so, u better get that looked at under warranty ... no point mucking round with gear oil if it may be a manufacturers issue
  15. NO ONE hates foggies as much as I do !!! If I can't use them, NO ONE ELSE CAN ! <_<
  16. Then I have probably flashed you with my high beams LOL Just be careful though. There are lots of signs stating that a $74.95 fine applies to drivers that have their fog lights on and not in adverse conditions. Unless your car is in a constant photoshoot I say keep them off. Don't get me wrong - I like the fog light look. If it was legal, I'd have mine on too.
  17. Hmm, annoying and distracting have different definitions. Let's see. A beautiful girl on the side of the road flashing me her boobs while I am driving is distracting, yes, but DEFINITELY not annoying. Regarding fog lights, it's just plain annoying because it is something that is so obviously illegal, yet people still leave them on when driving. Just because you have them does not mean you need to have them on all the time !! pg 101 http://www.rta.nsw.gov.au/licensing/downlo...ruh_english.pdf While you are there, please read pg 94 - Never leave children in a parked vehicle... You dont need your lawyer friend to read anything, mainly because he will charge you an arm and a leg .. just read the pdf above, from the RTA site. Quite clear fog lights in non-adverse conditions = illegal
  18. thats the funniest comment !! ahaha (it's in the disclaimer at the bottom)
  19. Then you have been one lucky, annoying ***** then !
