  1. I'd say you are right .. The car looks similar to "Charlene" that you have there .. but in green
  2. Think I will go for the Narva plus 50 .. Any idea what the standard ae 101 headlight globes are ? H4 or H7, whether the highbeam and driving beam are the same globe etc. ? Appreciate any info .. otherwise, I will find out and post up when I go home and take the car apart. Thanks ! My guess would be H4 combo driving and highbeams ... Good info on this site --> http://www.rallylights.com/hella/bulb_help.htm & http://www.rallylights.com/hella/hella%20images/h4-3.jpg
  3. Hey guys, my mum complains that the lights on her corolla are too dark to drive with at night ... What globes are the best option for us to make it a brighter? Would prefer lights that will just go into the existing spots as opposed to ones that need any kind of modifications or fiddling around. Legal as well if possible, but if not, tell me that the particular option is not legal. THANKS ! Oh and price. This looks promising ... --> http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/inde...4&hl=globes EDIT Don't want HID's EDIT again Quote 1zz-fe Legal: Narva +50 Narva Arctic Vision Philips 50+ Philips Blue Vision. All ADR compliant and will increase visibility over stock. Non-Legal: Philips Diamond Vision Philips Crystal Vision These make a pretty blue or purple light, but aren't ADR compliant and have less visibility than those above. Beware that most Autobarn outlets will recommend the Crystal/Diamond Visions.

  8. Lightweight rims and lowered springs (in that order of course) + some konis and camber pins will keep you happy for a whileAh we are getting somewhere .. Whats your budget ? Someone mentioned coilovers above .. do you want to go all out if performance is key ? Ps Was kidding bout the spring cutting by the way !!!!!!
  9. GREAT question, one I am hoping you could answer because once upon a time when mine went from 17" back to 13" (insurance matter etc.etc.etc.) the car was dramatically lower ... no idea why.
  10. Ahhaha !! Close thread !! LOL I was assuming lightweight performance rims plus lowering, hence my line of thinking. Lowering on stock wheels looks **** so either go all out or not at all .. Also remember the car sits slightly higher on larger rims, so you need to take that into consideration if you are lowering first and getting rims later.
  11. 1) rims first 2) lower after rims See if you can meet some people and their cars .. that way you can see what they are running and you can see how it looks, whether it scrapes etc. etc.

    Auto trimmers

--- I got it done at The Little Trimmer in castle hill... cost me $1k all up - $600 for the 2 fronts, $400 for the rear. Not the cheapest around, but they are one of the best. The other guy you could try is in the phone book under "Hebbelwhite". He's an old dude who does it out of his garage. much cheaper, and word is he does good work. --- you need to register a username to use the full search function ... but this is the info I got
  19. Rear of it looks like a Mazda 6 !! Rims are nice .. 20's be better but 19's more practical - how much was it selling for on Carsales ?
