  1. Hi everyone!!!

    The annual events start in exactly a week!! Yay!! The only thing that's bothering me is all this rain we been having the last 2 weeks it hasn't let up. For those of you who do live in Sydney I'm taking suggestions for an underground place we could have it at in the case of this rain not easing up. Please PM me some possible suggestions so I can call ahead and get the ok first from the venue.

    Fingers crossed though we get some sun in the upcoming week. :)

    Daryl don't worry bout the little dent I'm sure your taking home a trophy or 2 anyways!!!!

    Gosh I'm soooo excited!!!!

    Also just a reminder to everyone driving to Sydney to take it easy on the roads as it is double demerits from the end of the week.

    And just to tease you all a bit should I show you what my lounge room looks like at present? Should I?????

    Speaking of hooters. We have a confirmed booking for 45 people so can we start a hooters dinner list? So I don't have to open a new thread just for dinner.

  3. Entry/ Registration will happen on the day i will be there from 7am setting everything up. I will start accepting entry's from 830am and stop at 10am. Show bag giveaways are limited so only the early birds will get one. This applies for everyone. I will only be accepting cash too no 'I owe you's' please try and have the correct money too it will be much appreciated.

    If anyone want's to volunteer to help me on the day please PM me :D thanks

    OMG 23 DAYS TO GO!!!!!!

    As the event is fast approaching i am now putting together the official list of attendee's. So everyone who is coming can you please check your name is on post #2 if not please send me a PM so i can get your name on there asap. There are limited numbers of show bags so all people on my list will have preference to them.

    Everyone who enters there car will get a show bag of goodies. This makes it fair for everyone and no one leaves empty handed!!! You will also receive a voting card and number for your car.

    Please remember too the Show and Shine will start at 9am sharp!!! Those who are entering their car please ensure you arrive before this to give you enough time to register your car and have a coffee at least!!!

    It's gonna be a great day!!!! I think i will need to borrow a trailer to get all the prizes there!! it's gonna be awesome!!

    Hope all of you have already booked your accommodation??

    I have just received confirmation emails from all 3 of our sponsors and let me tell you the prizes are AWESOME!!!! Such a shame none of them will be coming home with us!! LOL! and to make things clear on how awesome these prizes are.....lets just say they don't even fit in the prado with no kids and the seats all up!!.

    The trophies are almost ready and will be proofing them next week :D

    Truely gonna be an awesome and most unforgettable event!!!!!

    Don't forget to ensure all your cars are in A1 condition as there are 3 surprise categories!!!

    Oh and don't forget i also have a surprise for those who attend on the day of the show and shine!!

    Wow!!! i can't wait!!

  6. Hi everyone!!

    Please keep in mind that this will be the last meet until the national meet. So i would like to take the time to fill you all in personally as to what will be happening and it would be good to get some feedback too in case i'm doing something wrong. Also wanted to discuss possible helpers on the day.

    So please guys!! try and make this one.

    We also need to talk about doing some day meets so we can do a mock run of the national meet cruise. I don't want it to be a long and boring cruise for the interstaters.

    Maybe we can go out for a coffee or something after and discuss the meet together ???

    The national meet is fast approaching and it feels like i'm forgetting something.

  7. For those who have not been to a show and shine/ annual meet before.....there has always been an entry fee to cover the costs of everything put into for the prizes and trophies.

    This is a free club and free website. No moderator on this forum is PAID. WE don't have to do anything on this forum.....WE ALL choose to :D

    We have 4 kids, and both of us work full time .....do we have much spare time...NO. We do this every year cause we want to. The banners/ trophies/ shirts/ stickers etc... all comes out of OUR pocket.

    It only takes 30 posts on our forum to be a regular member and to be entitled to sell stuff too. It's mainly to encourage the members to be more active on the site.

    If anyone else has a problem please PM me. Disrespecting me behind my back is childish and uncalled for!!

    Just an update to the show and shine.

    Its great to see the interest from outside toyota owners!! Due to this i will be adding a new category to the show and shine for GUESTS. Anyone have an good ideas on what we can call the trophy please post it up.

    We are having trouble finding people to sponsors the trophies....so Mark and I will be paying for them. In the fairness of this being a free club/site. We will be charging the following entry fee's (TO ENTER YOUR CARS) to cover the cost of the trophies.

    SILVER MEMBERS $2.50

    REGULAR TOCAU MEMBERS $5.00

    GUESTS $10.00

    By regular member's I am referring to the status on you personal profile. 'NEWBIES' will be considered guests.

    All entrants will receive a showbag of goodies, an entrant number and voting cards.

    There are a total of 20 trophies up for grabs on the day :D
