G'luck Phil. Mine was supposed to be there yesterday. Pick up Monday. I'll be calling the stock controller this morning as the tracking system shows it as not being delivered to the dealer yet. :( looks like it will be sometime early next week for me too - subject to the availability of the nudge bar and side steps. Should have by my wife's birthday next year at this rate... Tow bar and parking sensors go on today. :D No car for me this weekend :-( Looking like Wednesday Just had a call, Tuesday now for me :( Picking up my AWD Grande on Wednesday. Yipee ! On another note,I asked my dealer to stump up a couple of tickets to the motor show & he reckoned they didn't have any to hand out.....

As did I (negotiated a fixed price). Unless you had it struck out, the paperwork you signed when ordering the car has a clause that covers the dealer for price rises and passing them on. The US Highlander had a price rise, which means potentially we will too. It's not to say that the dealer won't honour your agreement, but if the differential is too high, you might find them pointing you to that clause. I'm hoping the dealers are good to their word. Yeah, I guess although I'd be surprised if it doesn't stick as we agreed they would wear any change in price and I've got an invoice that the finance company is getting ready to pay. I'll let you know if they don't honor it .... there will be a big noise :)

The dealer asked me not to post the price on forums, and as he has been good to me I will respect his wishes, suffice to say was lower that current retail, with some goodies thrown in.

Hi Bluesalt Did you buy from the factory directly? How do we get the tracking number from the dealer? Woo - I can finally see something on the tracking website. "Being prepared for transport" Build and Compliance date Sept 2010. :) latest delivery date - 20th... I hope it's earlier than that. Hey Pugsley, what website do you use for tracking ?

My dealer told me the 8th is the wholesale date, and they'll have it a few days after that. I hate waiting. I'm so impatient. Hey PhilG and Pugsly - what colours did you order? I'm looking at a new one in Dark Furnace (a new colour for Kluger but available on the Prado). Went with the boring graphite. :) The wife and I both like it. Let's see who can post a photo of their new kluger up first :) I ordered black back in in August, but on Monday I changed to Graphite. Dealer said it will only delay delivery by a week or two & that I'll get an October plated car instead of an August originally. The boats must be full !

He reckons they are already in the country, sitting on a wharf somewhere. My car has been allocated on his system and he has known the VIN/chassis no. for a few weeks now.

Here is the first review, with good pics, of just released 2011 Highlander which looks to be almost identical to the soon to be released facelifted Kluger being released here mid next month. Ordered my new Grande 6 weeks ago and dealer says it'll be one of the first ones off the boat. After checking out the competitors have put my order in for the facelifted Grande. Dealer has agreed to a competitive locked in price. Agree with mods listed above but don't think the light on mirrors are blinkers, only 'puddle' lights. Check out the Highlander specs/photos. Can't wait till mid October :)
