Hi Folks Finally got the stereo issue resolved - now for the next. I replaced the tarago car battery on the weekend - car starts, run fine etc, but now the car alarm goes off every time i open the door, start the car, look sideways at the bloody thing. For example, I can lock the central locking, unlock, the lights flash as usual, open the door then the alarm goes off. I can get in while the alarm is going and start the car ok, and after a minute or so the alarm stops and "rearms" etc etc I cant find a reset for the alarm or anything that might set it back to normal operation. Is there a reset/blown fuse/code for the car alarm system i have missed? Any assistance apperciated Cheers Jamie

TO REMOVE REMOVE 2 SCREWS UNDER FUSE LID, REMOVE ASHTRAY AND 4 SCREWS BEHIND ASHTRAY DRINKS HOLDER IF FITTED REMOVE CIG LIGHTER JIGGLE OUT DRINKS HOLDER AND ASHTRAY ASSEMBLY YOU MY NEED TO REMOVE BOTTOM CENTRE GLOVE BOX IF FITTED REMOVE 2 SCREWS UNDER RADIO THESE HOLD RADIO MOUNT TO A PLATE IN DASH YOU SHOULD NOW BE ABLE TO REMOVE RADIO AND VENT SHROUD AS A UNIT CAREFULL OF VENTS HEy if you have a wiring diagram for this model id be grateful it you would post it!!!!!

Ive bought a 2nd hand 92 Tarago with the standard Tape/Radio dashboard unit. It looks like the previous owners had a CDunit in there but swapped it out before selling (as you do). I cannt find a wiring harness suitable for a Tarago and im trying to wire in a new Sont CD player and not having much luck Does anyone have a Stereo wiring key for this model - its trial and error so far and its taking a while (for eg theres 2 red cables and neither are power...???) Can somone help me before i blow it up :) thanks JAmie
