  1. Yeah i have used lithium grease, and came back two weeks later. Decided to use Teflon tape. hasn't come back for a year now.

Guess you were skilled on applying grease on swaybars. I've never had luck using grease. Though its cleaner without grease, that's a positive :)

Well good luck Unique. i hope it solves your problem.

  2. I dont think anyone has an aftermarket bonnet here for the yaris. The only benefits for the bonnets are for looks, since the yaris bonnet doesn't weigh much and also CF is illegal on the roads.

Guess you have to take the risk of getting one. Usually you don't have to modify aftermarket bonnets.

What did he quote you on for the bonnet anyway?

  3. Today i replaced where the cross bar used to be with the lower bar and moved the cross bar back abit using longer bolts. No difference in handling as i already had the cross bar there. The lower bar came with the cross bar but never had it in.

So once everything was bolted up. I add some black foam padding so that no one will be able to see the cross bar from behind. Just keeping things subtle so i wont get in to trouble.

Decided to add cheap ebay foot well LEDs running off dome lights as a courtesy light. Spices up my boring interior. Now i can also see where i step when getting into my car.

  4. Get some rear hub spacers if you haven't already done so. That's when you will need to get thin or stretched tyres for the rear.

With 17s and 205/40s on i scrub the rear gaurds so bad its bent one of my gaurds out. lol.

    Looks pretty sweet though.
