Yeah lots of people mistaken that as for coolant leaking. Looks like you learn something new today.

If you dont mind Marshals, basically khumo tyres, i got my 205/40R16 tyres for 120ea fitted and balanced. I think they are bang for buck. Much better then Nexens. Never tried toyo, but will try them one day.

Was good meet up. Too bad it was raining. Also bad traffic at burswood. Drove over boogey and my rims turned out green.

Awesome. So thats what it will look like if i got 195/45s ;). Cheers. Wanted the slight stretched look, But cost a heap for an odd tyre size. Must have cost you atleast 200 for that tyre size. From a distance it looks like 17s.

Nice. I like it. What size rims and tyres did you get? I need some 16" tyres but unsure what size to get.

Put some light weight NST Pulleys in. Crank. Water Pump and Alternator. Stock pulleys all weigh up to 1.8kg. While the light weight ones all weight up to 600grams.

Did you just get the key, or the keypad version?

I haven't been to the zigzag road before. So I'm definitely up for it.

Surely there will be one next month. =)

Lunjiaow when did you start working at New Town?
My dad is Edward, he left awhile back now...
Yeah, i remember him. Probably left about two years a go. Seen you there too with dad sometimes, and also your car in the workshop.
Spotted nothing lately. A shame really.

Yeah for sure. You'll have to ask the service advisers, if you can have a certain someone service it. Other wise we get jobs at random.
You should have complained about the rotation. Unless you have more tread on the front then the rears then we usually just balance the front wheels..

Yes that sounds about right. The remote key is roughly $400 itself. Then labour to get it coded. The key has to get coded for both immobilizer and the central locking.

Think it was Jaaassseeee's ZRE Sedan at work today in for a service ;)
OH you work there?
I heard stories about kids thrashing peoples cars at that place....but I get my toyota advantage thing there :)
Next time I have another service I'll make sure to give you a yell :P Maybe you can give her some TLC for me :D
Yeah. It might be true. I wouldnt know cause i dont go test drive with other technicians there. But i dont thrash peoples cars, really no point in doing so.
For sure, give her TLC for you. =)
Oh yeah was disappointing that you never went ahead with the UR braces in the end.
Saw a dark blue yaris with silver racing stripes at mayaree maccas @ 1am today, anyone on these forums?Never seen one with silver stripes, but it might be dominoes company car. Might be blue with white stripes or something like that.
-
Nice photos. I like that Black Celica. Looks like GTC stye rims. Good to know there is another blue yaris similar to mine =)
Hopefully i get new shoes for the yaris before the next cruise. Cant wait!
You need nice Watanabes on that 86.

what a bummer i missed out.
-
Haha. no, i just saw it in the workshop. Someone else gave it extra care. =)

Had the dash "noise kit" fitted under warranty with the 30,000km service done at the same time - only took 1 day and everything seemed to have been put back as it's supposed to. Will need to drive it a bit more to determine whether the dash rattle has been fixed completely as I only picked up the car today.
Also had the rattling LHS center air vent and part of the center console replaced. The center console was rubbing against the piece of silver plastic underneath and taking the paint off as you move the console armrest forward and back.
I mentioned that lots of members on the forum complained that they had more problems after the dash has been taken apart than the original rattle - so the service manager said he'll request their "best technician" to do the job instead of just anyone available on the day. I just hope I don't have the same bad experience as some of the unlucky members on this forum. :P
You would expect the dash to rattle after its been taken out, but was surprised that once its taken out and have the noise kit fitted it was much quieter than before. The centre console sometimes rattles or creaks, guess bits of foam might fix the problem.
