Ok I know there probably is another topic on this but I'm using my phone to access forums so I can't search. Anyways I have a dilemma I am hoping someone could help me with. I am planning in putting some subs and amps in my aurion soon and I'm wondering is the stock headunit able to be used or do I have to upgrade it to one off eBay ? I would rip the car apart and check but figure easier to ask and someone might have already stumbled on the same dilemma. (the stereo would most probably be 4x 10" subs and 2x mono blocks if that helps) :)

Yeah I got a sunroof but no signs of water on the cover or roof anywere... No signs of leaking around door seals... I'm so confused

Hopefully someone can help I bought my aurion about 3 months ago and live in Canberra lately it has been raining a bit and the car lives outside. So today I jump in the car and my mate notices the whole left handside carpet is drenched front to back and the rear seat is half soaked closest to window After trying to dry it out a but we noticed there is a Puddle under the rear left seat of water ... All windows were closed and I have no idea what else could have caused it .. Has this happened to anyone or does anyone know what might of caused it ?

Ahh that would make sense i have been looking at some headunits on ebay and they have different aircon/heating Controls under the head unit (maybe climatecontrol stuff) and makes the unit look alot bigger then if it was in with my standard 3 knob system :s

Ok cause everything from kits/headunits/sway bars and more all say 07+ i just dont wanna buy anything and it not fit.

Ok a pretty basic/silly question one that has probably been asked before but i cant find it anywere. Could someone tell me what the difference is between 06 model Aurions and 07+ models ? Every part i see for sale is only made for 07+ Aurions but there doesnt seem to be a difference that i can see. ? thankyou.

If it has no signs of being a Marked car you should be right. I dont know about were you are but in ACT most aurions are detectives etc and most are unmarked, so they do get strapped every once in a while but not constantly like traffic cop cars. Best thing you really can do is go back to were you bought it and ask them for the truth out of curiosity. they might tell you were it came from and what it was used for but then they might not, depends on how nice/truthfull the seller wants to be. I was looking at a XR6T in VIC and asked the salesperson and he straight up told me it was a ex cop car from parramatta that was used for Traffic duties. :) "My 2 Cents"

I have got 20x8.5" on mine sx6 without any issues at all fitting and insurance wise. So they do fit :)

Should be around the $2000 mark fitted with an alignment. Ok sweeet :) I spoke to pedders and they said $2350 fitted with allignment but they are specifically designed with camber control he said, have to buy different strut tops. But i also got quoted $2100 for K-Sport fully adjustable coilovers (damper/height/camber) fitted from a mate. Which one would you guys recommend ? And Sorry for hijacking someones post :P

How much did pedders charge you if you dont mind me asking ? Im looking at getting some for my aurion in canberra.

Hey guys new to the forums/club ive been reading up and thought might aswell introduce myself :) Im 19 , Live in ACT and drive a 06 Aurion Sportivo SX6. Purchased it about a month ago for $23,000 Drive away with 3 Years "Mechanical Protection" and 59,000KMS on the car and its my first "Proper" nice car and so far im loving it. So far havent done anything to the car except put 20" Lenso OP4's on it from Tempe Tyres but plan on getting : -Lowered/Coil overs -TRD Body Kit -Exhaust System -Aftermarket Screen -Custom Plates "Oreo" :) All in due time, ill upload pictures and hope to see you all around :)
