tarago drifter

Hi im new to forums but ive been reading some forums but never posted b4, i read heaps of forums and people say the F series diff is stronger and good to upgrade into other cars but the thing i want to no is that is it stronger enough for me to weld up the centre diff (cig locker) bcoz im really into drifting and my 1986 tarago has a stock diff and teh inside tyres always spin, so plz some can u tell me if its a good idea to weld the centre diff?
