  1. thanks for the input guys! my mate is getting the new pump put in this friday. hopefully it shouldn't effect it and will keep you guys updated thanks again! :D
  2. they changed the ecu out with another stivos and then changed it back coz he couldn't get the car past 7300RPM after they put the original ecu back everything worked but the dealer told him tht the VVTi-L hesitated at 6200RPM so they went to work and found the oil pressure pump was faulty and replaced it with a work part off another stivo. he is still waiting for the new part to arrive and have it fitted!
  3. hey guys, i got a mate whos got a 03' stivo its just had a few repairs done at the dealer under warrenty. before it had the problems fixed the VVTi-L would kick in at about 6k rpm and you can feel it. but now after toyota fixed the VVTi-L oil pressure pump tht kick in the back feel is gone. :( we don't knw if there was a problem ever since he got it, or is it a normal not to get a kick in the bak feel wen the VVTi-L kicks in? could u other stivo owners help us out with this? so does anyone else feel this kick in the back sensation wen the hit the 6k rpm mark while goin up to 8200rpm?
  4. hey guyz, just wonderin where you can get these lights from. i have a mate who wants a black set. and i couldn't find any down here in tassie. could you give me a approx price and a name and contact of a place where i can get them from.
  5. you shouldn't need to change your oil any more often than a normal intake system. if your gettin junk in your oil, you should get a better CAI no questions asked...thinks its abit obvious to ask a question like tht! abit of common sense i reckon! btw i run a k&n pod on my car...does wonders but it works better than the panel!
  6. just go down to autobarn and ask for mark, he'll sort you out with some bulbs you can't get normally...tell him tim who drives the n14 pulsar sent you! he'll look after you...or scottie the newzealender, both top blokes :D
