Hi Mate have a read through the members ride section, should give you a few ideas of what others have done.
-
Sounds like a great deal to me. I run my 2007 on 91 unleaded and dont have a problem but they are designed to run on E10 if you want. The ride is a little harsher on 18" wheels but not enough to worry and they fit in fine. As for the colour any darker shades will show up scratches and swirl marks more than lighter shades but its really a matter of personal choice. Good luck with the purchase and enjoy

From reading your post I would take it to a local mechanic and get them to service it so you dont do something wrong and end up costing yourself more money in the long run

Hi Mate have a read of the FAQ section, has a few things listed to look out for. Overall they are great cars to own just keep the services up and they should go forever

try going through the firewall on the left side behind the glove box, from memory i read somewhere this is the easiest place to get through as other wires run out from there

We got the paint protection on my wifes Mazda 3, to get tar off you need to use either straight car wash and dab it on to soften the tar or bug and tar remover and be gentle as the tar will scratch the surface if you scrub to hard. But as Andrew said you wont stop stone chips unless you wrap it in clear vinyl which I have seen a company that does it but cant remember their name.
