  1. Not the best picture, but have a look at this link and select the "supercharger" item. It should give you a general idea of what is needed. It's not too bad as a basic workshop manual either. http://www.autozone.com/servlet/UiBroker?F...23d8022c0c6.jsp
  2. I am looking for a service book for TCR 10 Tarago Toyota dealer can't help. I want to do the service myself, but neeed the book to find out what needs to be done. Could a forum member please scan the service book either the whole book, but a least from 50,000k on. Any other info would be helpful. Either post it here or email to me robmac@blueprintsecurity.com.au Thanks
  3. Hayman Reece make them, have a look at their website. Retail is about $ 550 for the chrome/black one. If you find a cheaper supply and are in Melborne please let me know -I'm looking for one for my 1990 GLX TCR as well. CEPAC in Mt Waverly Victoria can get them into stock. regards
  4. We had a 1998 GLI Mk 1. If I recall the front washer bottle was inside the passengers door arch, down low acessible when the door was open near the rubber step (I could be mixing up with my early Hiace). Try anyway. If not there try inside the back of tail gate opening , on the body at waist height, on the passengers side. There could be two bottles. The van has been gone for over 15 years so my recall is not so good.
  5. Have a look at this link. Not very comprehensive but it give quite a good overview. http://www1.autotrader.com.au/mellor/mello...ta&model=Tarago Basically two models Series 2 Mk1 GLX = 4 Wheel disks independent rear end, automatic GLS = same as above in 4WD Series 2 Mk 2 No 4wd in this series Ultima = late series MK2 with all the bells & whistles GLI = Base model with solid rear axle and drums Getaway = more upmarket above with twin aircon & rear disks(?) The GLI progressively got airbags, cruise control, tacho, and rear disks as they they approached 1999.l The very late GLI had ALB, airbags On a different subject does yours have a bit of noise, ticking under accerleration ? I went to the dealer today and they said it was pretty normal to have SAD shaft noise , even from new and not to worry about it until it realy rattlely. Mine is 1990 GLX (no sunroofs) and has 254k km on the clock.
  6. Hi Micky, I have just purchased a 1990 Tarago GLX. It has the clicking noise and sounds like it has the SAD shaft coupling problems. Does the kit available from Toyota Australia fit the 1990 models ? Other info on the net suggests the Toyota kit only fits the later model regards Robert
