knocking noise coming from the front of the car while shifting down from 2nd to 1st and moving off....thought it was the caliper moving but doesnt make sense anymore?

jack up a wheel and shake it about if you think thats the prob, so many possibilities.. good luck

thing is i had a service about 6k km ago and asked them to check it...they didnt find anything wrong
Couldn't find the problem likely, so it doesn't exist to them, even tho its obvious to you. Be glad they're not your heart surgeon.
