Cheers mate, I actually just finished my first mod today... If you count debadging, then this is my second B) Took off this bad boy Fairly easy to do... 1 Clip+1 Nut (Each side) Unfortunately I lack the tools to remove this nut properly, as I have extremely little room to work with, I could not fit a spanner in there and my sockets were too short, as seen in below pic, 10mm nut I'm pretty sure Luckily I'm a smart cookie and decided to improvise, it worked very well, grip and twist, I used the same technique on replacing a mates spark plugs in his old Honda civic a few years back This was a bitch to get off, it's basically a gasket, but it's stuck on there real good After a bit of swearing and worn down fingernails, I got a lot of the gunk off, put some various sized grommets in the holes, bit of silicone helped a bit, will help stop any water leaking into the boot, the grommets stick out a bit now, but I plan to sand them down and paint them body colour, more cleaner look I think it looks alright, needs the ducktail And a profile shot, looking at this particular shot makes me realise how bad it needs a tint, I'm low on cash until I sell my Bimmer though, once that's sold I can make a bit more progress Also, didn't realise how much difference the weight of the spoiler made to the automatic boot system, I took a video, I think I could easily launch small children off this

Cheers man, I was just browsing through, typed in Aurion, saw a really nice gold one and thought it looked familiar :) I'd give a crack at it mate, but honestly I do put quite a bit of time and effort into my renderings, sometimes 8+ hours... Plus I do get asked to do them quite alot. I even say no to my mates, we'll see about it, but not anytime soon, I might give it a go one day, but I won't make any promises No No.. He won't be the 1st one.. :P :D Mate, you have a sportivo and we have exactly the same mods list, except mine has a lot minor ones.. Hahah.. You can check on how it looks on a black car on my ride. Won't be as visible as in blues, but you get the picture. Mate your car is the tits, honestly, I can't think of anything i don't like about it, had a read through your build, I definitely wanna do the ducktail as well, I also want to custom fiberglass it to make it a little bigger... Shame about your first set of rims though, that sucks

Yeah I dabble in the car renderings, been doing it for a while... Can only seem to work with cars, can't seem to draw/render anything else Ah wicked, i haven't bothered to look up the window spoiler, it just sort of came to mind when I was drawing and I thought, wow Aurions have a big rear window, then I thought that would look appropriate... I'll be on the search for one cheap now

Whilst you guys were arguing over which slime is the best, I whipped up a rear view as well... I had rendered some slimy weather shields, but they came out horrible, so I just deleted them The mods I have in mind are actually pretty simple, but effective, I would like to remove the current sportivo spoiler and get a Camry sportivo spoiler, modify it to fit, maybe fiberglass it to make it a little bigger (Mostly wider). Also a low profile rear window spoiler (If they exist for the Aurion, if not, custom make one), tinted tails, lower, rims, eyelids and grille... And that's about it. Also think it's time to change my sig

GLURM1 at the aiport today. Silver Aurion ATX, parked in short term parking, had a set of black 18"s with some silver bits in them, anyone on here?

I do a bit of graphic design/car render work from time to time and decided to whip up a cartoonish render of what I'd like my Aurion to look like My sports grille is in the mail. So that's one step closer to this^ Also, anyone got some eyelids that they don't want??? I'd be happy to pay $$$ to get them mailed to me

Was a couple of weeks ago, but I saw that gold Aurion in sunbury with the black rims. Tofuboi I assume? I'm also from sunbury :) Pretty sure I watched it pull out of sunbury maccas the other day too... Makes me wonder where you get your username from

Not sure if this has been covered before but I did a search and couldn't seem to find my answer. I apologize if it has been covered. Would it be illegal to remove the 3rd/final stage cat converter? I plan to remove the resonator and was wondering if I could de-cat it as well? Legally... What type of sensors are involved in the last cat? As far as I've read, for a car to be legal/roadworthy, "it must have A working catalytic converter" if I remove the final one. It still technically would have a working catalytic converter?

Sad to say it only has the standard Aurion brakes, It was an ex QLD cop car, still unsure about 'pursuit vehicle' it's almost 3yrs old and sitting on 60,000k's... Only about 20,000k's a year... A bit over 50k's per day, so I'd assume it was regularly used given those figures.

I'm not too sure about it being a pursuit car, I could have a look and find out the brakes that came with the car and reference them to a standard Aurion, see if they differ

My Build thread of my 2008 Aurion Sportivo SX6 Also my previous car on the right, 1991 e36 BMW 325i... Way too much money spent on it But no point me showing pics of my stock standard Aurion, everyone knows what they look like stock... So I've used a bit of Photoshop to create some possible future mods Something along the lines of this^ Could be very cheaply done, already looked at getting the eyelids/grille from Thailand, a friend of mine is a signwriter, so I'll be getting him to grab me a roll of Vinyl to do a partial cover on the bonnet and possibly the roof, And I'll see about someone good with fibreglass work to do me a nice front lip, probably not as big as the one in the pic, also skirts would be good too Possible complete debadge of the rear, tinted tails, only problem is the Toyota emblem sits in a recessed Oval in the metal, so that would have to be filled over and painted... I'd love the look, but I'd prefer mods that I can easily change back to stock, for re-sale reasons later on etc And I would kill to fill over the reflectors in the rear bar too, go for the clean look Open to suggestions on mods
