    Now I am no expert but isnt that contradicting yourself ??? By all means i dont wish you to stop providing the forum goers with the panels but arent the rules ment to be the same for all members???

    anyhow just wondering wht your thoughts on the matter might be... :whistling:

    Hey guys

    Well I went down the shop the other day and had a splurge on some good polish. Ended up getting that Nxt Maguire’s polish. Anyway did it properly by hand with the applicator pad, buffed it all off, all with microfibre cloths etc. BUT. Now instead of the paint surface feeling smooth it feels “grainy” I can see in the sun that I removed all the polish its has a "mirror finish" but it still feels like that. Is that normal for nxt? Last polish I used was meguires wet look and after that the paint surface felt like glass.

    dude did you apply with a dry applicator pad?

    im no expert but I found it easier to clean if you wet your applicator with water then apply the wax..

    BTW im using that Meguair yellow paste wax...

    or did you leave the wax there for too long and it dried out??? :idea:

    havent got a DSLR... but i'm bringing my 5MP Cybershot with tripod... see if i can pull off some shots of the gang.

    BTW WESTSIDERS...

    If you want a pre-meet, i thinking either:

    1: Brimbank Shopping Centre Carpark (Hungry Jacks)

    or

    2: Sunshine Market Place Carpark (at the DIY Carwash)

    or

    3: Bunnings Carpark (Cnr Ballrat Road & McIntyre Road)

    Personally i'm more inclined to meet at the car wash, that way we can make sure our rides are nice and clean :D

    Will make my way there too. May not be able to cruise, but will definitely rock up for the photoshoot. Gotta represent the white cars, aren't many in VIC. As you can see from the photo we took there before, I was the only white around.

    I'm thinking about applying E-Gene's design headlamp covers by making a pattern via wrist modulation with the cut and polish ! LOL!! :toast:

    so clean lah! - what do u use to clean ur engine bay?

    i use vinyl polish for interior + exterior ^_^;;

    dude..i cleaned it once with a degreaser(not on plastics of course)...and spray with high pressure water

    from your local car wash...let it dry and then polish with your vinyl polish for interior + exterior for the plastic stuff and then RP7 and lot of elbow grease for the metal stuff.

    sounds rough but i've only done it once for the last 4 yrs and still freakin clean... ;)
