Done any engine mods to the TRD? My sister has one, I love driving it. Never dragged it against my TRD Hilux. Might have to soon.

Will start a thread tonight, no quarter miles yet. The 24's had less grip than the stockies, got the stockies on now, they are a bit better but yes, only on takeoff is traction a problem. I should now how to drive it better but in the heat of battle its easy to slam the foot down. Its too easy for eveyone else with traction control. I think the new model SR5 lux's come out with factory traction control. Those radials looked mean Jap, how much did they sting you for those?

Yeah, he's been the only reliable machanic I've used so far. we probably didn't even try that hard The car is a daily driver and I need to just pop in and pop out straight away and get back to concrete polishing. The 24's look good and rive fine but I get absolutely no grip on the bitchumen at all. Struggle to drag in the streets due to lack of grip. My mechanics couldn't find a spot to test boost? where the hell are you getting your boost reading from. I remember getting this car when they first came out. Build number 90. Was so eager to get more hp out of it but took it everywhere and nobody wanted to touch it. I did the basics and then gave up. Great job on the cold air intake Jap!!! I ordered my coldy from the US, was meant for the tacoma or whatever they call their hilux equivelant. Was meant for left hand drive so it doesn't fit very well. You've inspired me to go back and clean it up. How good is the whine from the supercharger after you take off the factory intake. I use the car to towe around machiunes for polished concrete, and it does it easy.

On to my 3rd hilux now, The mighty TRD 4000SL. Getting 235rwkw out of it.
