  1. Um, the heater doesn't rely on power to create it's heat. It is generated by the hot coolant from your engine. If it's not cooling, either your heater core lines are blocked, or your air mix vane/servo is stuffed. Oh my bad, I thought it worked using an element & fan, so who do u recommend to fix such problems This happened with my first rolla ('86 Seca). (the heater unit had actually rusted through and spewed milky-rusty water all through the front carpets - but that's another story). I (and my old man) fixed it myself. It took AAAGES - difficult to get to. But cheap (from memory the part was about $65 - tho that was 10 years ago). Perhaps speak to a general mechanic, or aircon specialist? Its not really an electrical issue. In any case (as is usual for these things), parts should no problem, but the labour bites bad. Good luck.
  2. Hi All, I'm a new Toyota owner and sooo happy! I learned on a Seca and inherited a pretty old corolla (my gutless wonder) after that. Then came a string of unhappy cars (none toyota - no wonder I was unhappy), culminating in a complete fail of a holden. 15 years on, and I'm about to take delivery of a Corolla ascent. My first new car! :D Looking forward to getting to know you. N
