  1. Hi MG, Cant help but to say that my 2004 Kluger had same issue, put in a CD and it wouldn't p play or eject etc, tried everything appears it is a common problem with stacker CDs, every now and then I would try to eject/ CD, nothing worked and I was not in a position to pull the whole thing out, after about 10-11 months turned on ignition and the CD started playing !!!!! and was able to eject it etc, so maybe be patient? Good Luck
  2. Hi All, Trouble with the Kluger about a week ago the engine lights came on and she stalled twice on same day, also felt a shuttering type of sensation this shuttering happened intermittently over a few days ? bad fuel or air in line, opened the fuel cap, after a couple of days filled the car up, did a quite a few Ks at 110kms the shuttering was less obvious, then noticed 2 days ago that the fuel gauge was very low, then 5 minutes later it was on empty with fuel light glowing, so filled her up, but now the tank s fuel but the gauge shows empty and the fuel light is still on ?????Any suggestions or advice please. Thanks

  4. Help I have a 2004 Toyota Kluger fitted with Toyota tow bar 1500kg Unbraked, 700kg braked and 150kg on the ball. I need to tow a horse float yes with a horse in it, I have been told I need a Haymen Reese 2300kg, which is 200kg on the ball tow bar and then by another installer I was told that my Kluger can only tow with the standard tow bar that is 150kg on the ball? Can anyone shed some light on this I'm sure I've seen other Klugers towing floats but I didn't notice what year they were if thats a difference? Thanks Jo
  5. Here is the update! My Kluger was with Toyota for 7 days!!!!!! It was discovered that prior to me buying the car, 18 months ago, the windscreen had been replaced for roadworthy, as it turns out it was not sealed properly and a very small amount of water has been leaking onto the transponder unit! Hence I needed a new Immobiliser ECU and Transponder Amplifier which of course had to be ordered from interstate so $1200.00 later, being today I finally got my car back, now I need to get the windscreen re-sealed, and prey it doesn't crack during the process or it will be a new windscreen.
  6. Update. I have tried to start the car in N and P,with no success, I have also tried a new battery in the remote but still it turns over ie all the lights and icons come up on the dash but it wont start, the security light just keeps on flashing. I think I will need to get it towed to a Toyota service centre, just what I need with the kids going back to school and yes I drive them.
  7. Help, My Toyota Kluger 2004 wont turn over, I can unlock all the doors, battery has power but when I turn the key the security light stays on, so the motor wont start. Is there an override switch or some way to overcome the problem.Could it be a problem with the remote key? Any suggestions most welcome
