  1. Had the same issue as Julian did a couple of months ago. Scary because within the space of about a minute the pinhole in the hose sprayed oil onto the exhaust manifold, causing smoke to billow out the rear of the car and nearly emptying the sump. Lucky it didn't catch on fire. Yeah I was initially told via some Toyota parts boofhead that the replacement rubber hose was not available in AU and would cost some stupid figure like $600-700 to bring in from Japan, and would take about 3-4 weeks. After a few inquiries somewhere else we found the all metal replacement part off the Aurion. It was then that we discovered that Toyota recognized this problem on the Aurion, hence the all metal design. Moral of the story? If your Kluger still has the rubber hose fittings consider yourself lucky. But you are still sitting on a time bomb so get that part changed ASAP.
  2. From recollection there are 3 nuts on each light to remove. One thing is for sure the lowest of the 3 nuts was the hardest to get to and remove. That's because you almost need to be double jointed or a contortionist or something to even get to it. The rest of R & R process is a piece of cake, but it was that 3rd nut on each light that slowed me right down. In other words it can be done even by an amateur like me, but you will need patience. Let me know how you go.
  3. Sorry p0c1 but I have to disagree with your last comment to a point. Sure if your car is filthy you'd be stupid to start wiping stuff onto the paintwork. Common sense stuff. the product is good for cars that are already fairly clean and just need a touch up. What makes me an expert? I've got 3 cans of the stuff. I always wash my car first because that's how I like to roll. But I use the cleaning wax from time to time because it's bloody brilliant at removing bug marks, and road tar, which normal washing can't do. On top of that it leaves a very slippery surface. I like to wipe down the front bumper and bonnet area because it makes my job of cleaning the car the next time around so much easier. Try wiping the stuff on the windscreen. I hardly used the wiper when it rained from Canberra to Sydney because it was that good at repelling water. If you want excellent visibility during rain periods I recommend this stuff, and all you need to do is spray and wipe (not rub). Before giving advice please make sure you know what you are talking about. In my opinion I would recommend it.
  4. Bought a pair of new smoked LEDs 2 months ago from racerinnovation (via eBay). Exactly the same as the revotec versions above. Love the look of these lights and I installed them myself. The pics below show the park lights on only. They are double the brightness when the brake lights are on.
  5. Sent a PM but was wondering what the difference was between the Dueler H/L 400 and the D400.
