Last i read you are allowed a certain mm (wheel wdith) over the standard OEM wheel. Some car have muiltple wheel fitments BUT the only fitment that matters are the one noted on the placard.
Eg. Lexus Is250 have 16,17 and 18 wheels with max 8.5 inch wdith on offer. The placard on the Lexus is250 (or atleast on the Prestige which comes with 16 inch) states all of these fitments, so you can go to 9.5 inch width MAX.
What is stated on the placard of your car?

If there happens to be an issue with anything wheels related, anything at all you are at risk of being denied warranty repairs. If it's deem illegal with the RTA they can use that against you and you have no grounds to stand on. Same with insurance.
Check the whels upgrade guidlines on the net. There are strick rules to comply with.
-
Toyota parts are cheap so even if they void it voids the warranty shouldn't we an issue. That said is power steering system part of the wheels assembly?
The more concerning thing is insurance. if its illegal with the RTA most if not all insurer will not inure your car.

they look alright. Love the colour. But I won't go 19. When it comes to change tyres I'l cringe at the price. 18's will be perfect for me :). But yeah, at that price I'm sure they're not that good especially when you consider that postage is free so imagine how cheap they really are :/
The aurion is a big car, i think if you are going to upgrade no point in going 1 or 2 size up. they will look small so get 19s. With Wheels i don't think they are that pricey you can get around or below $200 for a decent one if you shop around. I would forget budget tyres because they are dangerous and won't last long, before you know it you will end up replacing them. Do it once do it right!

Imo a wing type spoiler on a camry is semi-wrong. It's camry which is family car not a racer. If you get the type that sits flush on the trunk you won't get that much of a race look but will set you aside from the normal Camrys. If you want to be more different have it carbon fibred (or met black) don't go for gloss black.
-
I don't know if the dual color would work with the high wing, if you get the type shown in your pic i recon carbon fibre would suit very much.

That's actually called a wing lol. anyway for it i'd say go the same colour as the body.
For the lower lips, you coudl leave them grey or uppainted.

Rear lip as in boot spoiler?

I used to have the eBay units in my Camry ,it was out of the car within one week loll replaced with this Toyota unit :D ,I had to buy 2 different harness from Toyota
I too have a $350 ish unit and it works well, for what i need it for,
That toyota unit sorry to say but it does not look good, does not look like it belongs there to be honnest. Very aftermarket looking.
-
I use a shade :)
That's what they are for lol.

Mate, just google dvd gps for Camry and you got heaps of units. The installation maybe tedious (i got mine installed from the reseller - Sydney). You get what you paid for, GPS, DVD (single only), Reverse Camera, Bluetooth handsfree, etc.
-
I got the DVD/GPS unit which they sell off ebay, alot cheaper than $2200 lol.

I'm not sure if this is tyres related but my tyre are pretty worned. Anyway, when i go over small ripples on the road (say at 60km/hr) i can hear a knocking/thumping sound coming from somewhere around the bump stop/tyre/shock area.
When i go over big bumps it's fine just hear the normal tyre thumping sound.
Does anyone know what this sound can be?
-
Thanks Jeff :) Also I'm thinking of getting 19s what tyre size would you recommend?yes
What width? Guessing something like a 19x8.5, 19x9 around there? Something around 235/40/19?
I've got 19x8.5 on my other car and you'd need atleast 235. go the 35 series. For 19x9.9 i recon you need 255 wide tyres.
-
Don't know about 0-60mph but it shoots off quick from 0, then slows from 40-70 then picks up again after 70km/hr.
-
those figures are too high, you should get the same as me.
-
Funny enough, after i did a redlight race the other day with some car i forget, the reading now reads 9.5L/100km. That's down from 10.2ish. I think i cleaned out the cogwebs by gunning it lol.
Work a try, floor it!

That's heart broken. I'm sure karma will come around to that person. Looks like some sort of transport vehicle that did it.
All the best with insurance or wreckers,
-
I drive conservatively everywhere and getting 10.2-10.4L/100km. Being a 2010 model i think your reading should be low 9s.
A good way to reset the ecu is to disconnect and reconnect the negative terminal on your battery. See how you go.

Thanks for sharing the pics. Camry is the perfect daily driver!
