  1. Hi David, No worries! I had the exact same questions.. I took it to the bullbar retailer/repairs on tuesday. took about 1 hour, $60 and looks all shiny and untouched/new again & couldn't be happier. I think they sanded it back, then buffed the bar out with some polish. It's solid Alloy with chrome look finish, so unless the damage was major - it's a pretty easy fix (sand back and buff/polish job)
  2. Gday David, Yes this place is a sell's and repairs bullbars (in perth) The scratch's on mine aren't massive, and they have estimated by the photo i emailed them it will take about 1 hour to repair. Cost is $100 per hour to re-sand back and re-polish the toyota alloy/chrome nudgebar. I take it in tomorrow and will see how it goes! It was a mission to start with as no panel beater wants to know about it unless it's a spray job, or total replacement(insurance) - period. Cheers sam :)
  3. All sorted out, found a mob that will do it! phewy...
  4. Hi Everyone, Yesterday we had a mishap, being distracted by the kids and pulling into our carport, I accidently went a bit too far and gently bumped the brick wall. As a result our brand new Kluger's nudge bar has some small scraps on it. I spoke to our dealership thinking they could buff it off for us, but can't and only suggetsed to go to a panel beaters. Now i have contacted a few and because this is a genuine toyota nudgebar which is full Alloy, they don't seem to want to touch it, only prepared to replace it. I'm in perth, Forrestfield. Does anyone know of panel beaters/ nudgebar repair shop's etc that work on repairs? It's very small and not a huge job but need to find a repairer to sort it out Any help from member's knowledge would be great!! Thanks
  5. got mine last week, had 70kms on it with a full tank of fuel and negotiated. But it had to have the window tint put on which would have contributed to the Km's I would say. All in all a bit higher than I would have liked but what ya going to do! I realise how long ago this post was made, but I felt I had to offer my opinion here, do you really think that with the amount of vehicles that come through a dealership that we'd be in any way interesed in flogging cars? The novelty of having different cars come through here wears off very quickly. Nice opinion, worth as much as the honesty from any car salesman LOL ^^^^^^ :)

  7. Hi All, Well we finalised our finance for our new Kluger yesterday and I signed all the final loan application forms as well. Upon further review of these forms at home I found some discrepancies from what the Loan Advisor at the Car Dealership had told us verbally and what was in Black & White on paper so I sent him a nice polite email just enquiring as to confirmation on these points (only two) without questioning his calculations, just to explain them to us so we were on the same page . Today I recieved a reply email from him and he was very abrupt and quite rude in his response, stating quite clearly that he was correct several times and saying things like "you know there are 26 fortnights in a year don't you?" etc... Shortly after another email came through from him apologizing for being a "bit" rude in his previous email and hoped all our questions were answered. I have to say that everything seemed ok prior to signing off and then the customer service seemed to drop quite a bit! Unsure as to just let it slide or say something to him or manager when we pick our car up in a day or two... Seems sometimes these days Customer service and especially after sales service doesn't exsist..... Still very excited to pick up the New Kluger though! Any thoughts or similair experiences from anyone? Cheers

Thanks Heaps bigdenis! I appreciate the welcome heaps :) Great to be here!!
  12. Howdy all! Just signed off on a 2011 kluger kx-r 2wd 7 seater in metallic graphite colour. Got $12000 trade in for 06 Hyundai Tucson with 70,000kms on it. Included was side bars, nudge bar, dash may, carpet mats back and from, family first aid kit, 2 full tanks of full with the second one at the first service. We also got cancer council tinting and paint protection. All up $47,400. Toyota finance at 7.99%. Apart from getting a 2011 buIld and compliance model as we wanted 2012 I think we did ok? The build is nov 2011 and compliance dec 2011 so it is only 3 months in the yard since it was built. This was purchased in Perth.
  13. Hi Manda 525 If possible could you please share which toyota dealership in WA you dealt with for this deal, I think you have done well and I'm currently in the process of trying to obtain the very same deal as well but with a 2012 model Kluger, I seem to be experiencing some resistance though and they won't add the window tining in either (I have to purchase seperatley at own cost) but apart from that am asking for the very same- nudge bar/side steps/ car mats & dash mat/ tank of fuel. The model is the Kluger KX-R 2wd 7 seater 2012 build and compliance plated, but the 2012 and 2011 models and pricing are the exact same to my knowledge. We are expecting about $12,000 for our trade in and about $23,000 on toyota finance with the rest in cash payment, The interest rate through toyota finance currently will be alot higher then the 3.9% deal over xmas and new years (probably 10% +). Any info from you end and or experience would be a great help! Thanks :)
