    Yeah true true. Well its great felling to help out! I have 10 year experience with Toyota Australia so I'll try help as much as possible. But ive forgotten a lot too LOL. I no longer work for Toyota and its been 2 years but its entertaining trying to remember technical details to help my friends...

    Damn thats sucks big time man! I dont know how they justify there price but i do know that theres a Denso remote and a fujitsu remote. Hense the reason for requiring VIN number to clarify what remote you need... Question is, is there a way to get a cheeper one :s ? Maybe go to the wreckers and try doing it that way? You could ask for Kluger or Aurion remote and try the programing procedure at the wreckers to test if it works. Thats my 2 cents, hope it helps man!

    Hey guys, One overlooked issue is the steering intermediate shaft rubber boot. Its next to the brake pedal and sometimes easly kicked, so when its kick the boot can come loose from the housing for the boot. Obviously when this boot is opened engine revs can be heard from inside the cabin and sounds similar to what you were saying Johnny Mash I hope this helps! Regards Boondy

    That looks like a suttons auto protection plan booklet? I would say YES. The cold start noise is due to the VVTi gear thats connected to you cam shaft, so its actually a cam gear. If it is a suttons protection plan, there is a phone number at the back of the booklet. Give them a call instead of the advisor.
