  1. Sorry guys I've been flatout with work & the kids. Promise I'll get some pictures up this weekend.
  2. Just rang the dealer and they said stock just arrived this morning so I can come pick up the mats anytime. All good. Thanks all
  3. Thanks alot David for your help. Your a wealth of information & a great asset to these forums! Good to know I don't have to deal with the service centre unless I have to.
  4. Installed front and middle seat covered yesterday, These seemed to fit ok. I know everyone says why put seat covers on leather seats for, but trust me with a 5 year old, 2 year old and a 3rd child on the way we want to keeo it covered until the kids grow up a bit. From all the toys that get thrown around, food and drinks (especially those formula milks when they drip in between those leather cracks) we want to protect the leather from scratches and food droppings as a long as possble heh. Ever seen what a 5 year old boy can do with a couple of hot wheel cars? Apart from being a bit of a pain to get the ties in between the gaps it wasn't too bad. Just have to fiddle a bit. It's just getting your hands under there and tieing them off thats a bit tricky. I'll post some pics up when I get he chance.
  5. Thanks guys for your replies. David we live in the city so caroet mats are all good for us. I can see why living in the country the rubber mats would be more appropiate. We'll keep on them and make sure we get our mats, otherwise they'll be a storm. Propably and oversight or they are truely out of stock like you said we'll give them time, I'm sure they aren't going to risk a bad reputation over something as small as mats. Barney congrats on your new car too! It's great isn't when you go pick up a new car and it's done less than 10KMS on the ODO? In regards to the contract the guy who closed the deal and went over the car with us, emphasised that we didn't need a copy of the ammended contract and we should put a little trust in him. Well it's gonna be on his head if he doesn't deliver the mats. Another thing I was wondering, is when we get the mats, will we have to take it into the service area because as far as I know there should be clippings installed into the floor to hook the mats into right? Or can we do that ourselves? Definitely going to be some good motoring ahead. Looking forward to our next road trip holiday.
  6. Have you tried turning the phone on and off while in the car? From some previous posts I think it worked for some people.
  7. Picked up our KX-S Kluger yesterday. Very happy with it. Had 7kns on the ODO. Was 04/12 build date. Everything was in order, no scratches or nicks. Got 3 sets of keys with it, and 2 central locking remotes. Except we noticed there we no carpet mats, which were suppose to be included in our deal. The guys checked it and came back & said they were out of stock and with the contract. wrote "no mats supplied yet" which he got the manager sign next to it. I asked for a photocopy of it but he said that I don't need it and he's not allowed to photocopy this for the customer. Does anyone know if this is true of if it looks like they are trying to pull one over us? The fact that they didn't mention anything about the mats until we noticed at the inspection, and the fact that they won't give us a copy of the altered contract seems a bit fishy if you ask me. Apart from that, very happy with the car. Wife drove it home and she said she loved it. Was worried it wouldnt fit in our garage but just managed. Good Luck to anyone else planning to buy or picking up a Kluger in the future! These cars are great!
  8. Hi mate Bought these on eBay with the dash mat & ordered window sox separately. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=160789011166 Got it delivered yesterday. Will let you know how they fit when we get our car on Wednesday.
  9. Hi Whitey. Welcome to the Toyota forums. Not sure. What other accessories are you getting? Tow bar? Nudge Bar? Side Steps? Seems a little steep still...if your not getting these accessories, as you are paying $3000 more than us for sat nav, but without the accessories we are getting also. Would sound fair if you were getting the sat nav, and the accessories we've got.(or maybe a little less like $57000). But without the accessories and just the Sat Nav, Cargo Mat and Carpets I reckon $55000-$56000 sound more doable. Dealer rang up yesterday, our car will be ready for pickup Wednesday. Can't wait!
  10. Done deal. Ended up getting it at $55000 with all of the above accessories. No 3 year extra mechanical cover though, from the first dealer.
  11. Okay. So they called us up 2 days ago and offered us a further $500 off the $56990 to $56490. However yesterday we went to another dealer and they matched the price with all the same accessories we asked for, but they threw in tinting for the front windows and an extra 3 years warranty. So 6 years altogther. However servicing must be done at their service centre. Going to go back to the first dealer and see if they can do even better.
  12. Hi everyone. We're new to this forum. Found it when we we're researching for Kluger sales. We're in the market to buying a Kluger. Today we went to our first dealer and negotiaited a price from $65,110 to $56,900 driveaway for a - KX-S AWD 2012 made model Metallic Graphite Colour Nudge Bar Side Steps Carpet Mats Rear Sensors Weather Shields Just wanted to get some opinions on this price we negotiated. Plan to go to some more dealers in the next few weeks. We are in Sydney by the way. Not sure if I'm allowed to post what dealers we went to... Thanks
