  1. I'm assuming that the vehicle is a hatch, I'm not sure if the sedan uses the same method. To replace the parkers, you will find the connector protruding from the back of the headlight assembly, to remove, rotate it Anti-clockwise.....I have to use an open-ended spanner to get enough leverage, the suckers are HARD to turn. If you're not sure which way to turn, the fitting is of a bayonette type and you can see the keyway and its coresponding "Opening" when looking through the front lens ...just turn the key in the direction of the opening. Chrome Grill: I have seen a listing for one at this site: http://www.ozeparts.com.au/ I have a 2001 Echo Sportivo 3 Door and when I use those details to search for parts, they have a Chrome grill listed.
  2. Hi All... I took my newly purchased (S/H) 3 Door Sportivo (1.5L...Australia) to my local performance shop to get an axle back sports muffler fitted. He said he was happy to take my money but he warned me not to do anything to the exhaust system as he has had many sleepless nights as a result of tinkering with other VVT-i Toyota's. He stated that the engines were so finely tunned that any deviation will alter the balance that had been painstakingly engineered into the standard configuration. He did say that there was ONE aftermarket setup that WOULD provide a desirable note and not affect performance. The official TRD supplied muflers and headers are his only recomendation..however, the costs preclude purchase. The muffler is $700AUD and the header is $850AUD. I've done the usual things, Iridium plugs, K&N Air Filter. I want to bring out as much performance WITHOUT major alteration to the system....CAI and the like, do not appeal, what else is left to do that is not brain surgery?
