HI I managed to get a used engine but also lodged an Out of warranty Assistance with Toyota. I am waiting for Toyota's response. It seems as if Oil Sludge is a contentious issue and in the US Toyota had to repair many engines.

I have a 2007 Tarago V6 GLX. I took it for a 120 000 km service and was told by Toyota that I need to replace the engine because of an Oil Sludge issue. The engine is getting noisy too. I would look like to know if anyone else had a similar issue? I'll have to replace the engine with a used engine as it is too costly. Does anybody have experience with used engines?
