We want to add a rear seat to a 1993 Toyota Hiace, fitted out as a campervan. Does anyone have experience with this? It once had seats, which were removed prior to the bed being fitted and is now registered as a two seater. There seems to be enough room to put a seat in. We plan to use an infant c****at, so will need shoulder belt, rather than lap belt. Who can legally install these? (in Victoria) Will only certain seats fit? What is required to add a shoulder belt? Any other advice appreciated. Thanks.
