Thanks guys - good its a timing chain What was it worth to change via a mechanic?

I have just bought [privately] a toyota 2004 Camry Alteva 4 cylinder Sedan Auto transmission Do these engines have a timing belt or a timing chain? If a belt or a chain - when [klms] do they need replacing? What does it normally cost to have replaced by a local mechanic? Thanks Speedy
