  1. Hi, thanks for the reply. The Aurion does not have any dipstick, it is a sealed system. Check this topic with the procedure from the manual how to replace fluid. http://au.toyotaownersclub.com/forums/topic/36317-transmission-servicing/page__hl__transmission As you can see it is a little detailed and you need a scan tool to measure correct temp when adding fluid.
  2. Hi, new to the forum. Had a read of the previous topics in regards to replacing the transmission oil. I have a 2008 ATX Aurion. Just completed the 180,000kms service myself as it has come out of extended warranty. Looked back on all my service history with Toyota and noticed the transmission oil was never replaced at the 90,000kms service, it was only checked. The recommendation is to replace every 90,000kms. However, as you all know it is a sealed setup. I am not confident in doing it myself as per the manual it has to be at the right temp and needs to be checked while replacing. Spoke to the service dept and they quietly said if it is not broke don't touch it. Just wondering what the general Consensuses is out there? I am passing this car onto my wife now and have purchased the new 2012 Aurion. i want to be sure it is ok. So far I have not had any issues with the transmission and as my wife will not be doing anywhere the amount of kms I do for work, I am leaning towards not touching it. What are your thoughts and if those who have had it done, do you have any problems now?
