Hi Coolscan, I didn't ask the dealer to change the oil either at the 1000km inspection but did ask if they have 0W-20 oil. They said Yes, and it might be slightly more expensive than 10W-30 which they when doing capped price service. I'll definitely ask them to use 0W next time (8 months later). 0W-20 is listed in the owner's manual so it should be fine for the hot weather here. Nan

Curious to ask have you sourced 0W-20 oil and replaced with it? Asked the local dealer in Sydney and was told that they use Toyota 10W-30 synthetic oil at service. Don't know if the thinner 0W-20 will be appropriate for Australia's hot summer.
