I've got a 2001 EFI Corolla. Could anyone tell me if it would be problematic to clean the Idle speed control valve by only removing the water hoses and spraying carby cleaner thru it? Would this wreck anything? Do I need to take into consideration resetting electronics or anything else?

Could anyone tell me, Would it be problematic to clean the idle speed control valve by removing only the fluid hoses and spraying through carby cleaner while it is still attached to the throttle body? Do I need to consider the electronics settings or cables

I just purchased a cabin filter on Ebay for $ 29. Fitting it is even easier than purchasing it.. almost:)
