small at one point?? did you tuck your inside the airbox? Im hoping that the airbox has the 'small point', as long as its not the other way around thats a good thing.

Speaking of fuel cut/rev cut, i have now found that i have lost 1000 RPM (between 7K-8K). I had reset my ECU and all looked good but again the same issue no more then 1 week done the track. It seems to happen when i lose traction when hitting lift in 1st gear. Can someone please help and advise as to why this may exactly be happening and what a possible fix would be. Will be taking it to Toyota next week but still very interested as to why this happens.

Invest is a 3" CAI tube from Autobarn or Supercheap Auto, remove the res (white box) for space for the tube and you will notice a better change.

I had ran my tubing down to the fog light cover on my 1ZZ-fe, only issue i had was bugs getting caught in the filter and dust/dirt in the box. Never had an issue with water.
