  1. Why go to the trouble in organizing a GB when you can get it in Melbourne? I usually get my Mobil 5w30EP from Harold at performancelub.com , self collect and save the postage. Any enquiry pls email sales@performancelub.com , i'm sure Harold will be more then happy in answering your question. Hmmm Mobil 1 EP 5w-30 is the same price as Royal Purple 5w-30. Which one should i go with? Go for Royal Purple, i tried RP 5w30 in my Ford Territory and it's fantastic, very smooth and felt having slightly better throttle response. I think 5w20 is fine if you are not towing or drive your Toyota really hard, everyone in America is running 5w20 with no issue at all. 5w20 will give you the maximum FC gain though.

  3. Easy, just pour a bottle of high PEA% base injector cleaner into your petrol tank and runs it once in a while to clean your injector, your injector will run bad if you don't run petrol often.
  4. Go to your mechanic and check your battery, it could be a weak battery.
  5. Valvoline engine armour and Nulon are most likely group I and II base engine oil, would be very average but i would go 1 step up and use Royal Purple or Amsoil 5w30 which is group IV base instead. Mobil 5w50 would be definably too thick, that is 2 viscosity thicker than what is recommended.
  6. Toddy, you might want to read up more about motor oil from BITOG, not all Syn 10w40 are PAO base.
  7. Why would you pay $13 each for Denso Platinum when you can get NGK Iridium for 0.99 more? Ebay is your best friend
  8. Or you can fix a oil temperature sandwich plate, ideal oil temp should not exceed 100'c. 90-100'c is fine but anything exceed 120'c like SuperDave suggested would need a external oil cooler kit.
  9. Don't go semi-syn, there's no industrial standard on how much % Syn(group IV base) before they name it synthetics, it could be just 5% or 20%. Just choose a good branded fully synthetic and it will do. Oh, some lub company's also name their group III oil as fully synthetic but we "pure-ish" only consider group IV(PAO) and above to be the one.
  10. The Aurion 2GR-FE engine would do just fine with any 30wt oil. I would personally use a good 20wt oil like the ester base Redline 5w20 for better Fc and protection or the 5w30 if towing.
