the big 3" mufflers you can get from repco for around 160, are they any good? are they illegal? (i assume so) how loud would one be on a 92 corolla?

in my 4A-FE the gearbox syncro is awful. i cannot get into 1st unless i stop the car, i cant get into any gear except 5th without grinding the gears if the revs arnt almost perfect. can i get it fixed/replaced? is it easy? is it cheap? thanks.

4A-FE about 600ks per tank, so thats pretty good i recon concidering i realy dont drive efficiantly. just filled up with the best from caltex (cant remember what it is) and iv done 100 and the gauge hasnt moved, i think its broken haha. i get poor power and economy in rain, rain sucks more power than my aircon on full.

i want to put my 6 inch speakers in my front doors, and put some 6x9s in the back, but i dono if there are even mounts/cut-outs there..?

i put 3 tanks of injector cleaner thru it, which helped significantly, does the high octane fuel realy do that much? and are there any mecanical things i can do? thanks for ur sudgestions

I have a 92 fuel injected corolla. Ill be servecing it soon at 250000ks, iv already replaced the plugs, and put in a pod filter. Im concidering puting 5 small inconspicious slit like vents in the bonnet above the pod to feed it cold air. I about to become a first year uni student, which means im poor. what can i do to my corolla to increase performance thatl cost under $150? thanks.
