Corolla-tarago

My mates ute has dropped 1st 2nd 5th and reverse. Was driving along and just al of a sudden stopped going into these gears. No noticeable noises nothing. Let it cool down and still nothing. We are pulling it appart this weekend once he limps it home from where he is. Any ideas on what to look for?

In desperate need of a replacement sliding door runner the one in the middle of the door has given out and can't find any at the wreckers the door has fallen off twice now and isn't safe for the kids. Any help or suggestions or if anyone has some spares would be much appreciated

Hi guys joined the group to get some advice for my aunties Rago. She bought the car about 2 years ago from an auction and her friend took it to a mechanic who apparently changed the "dash" (assuming she means instrument cluster) don't know what the reason was for changing it or what ever. But now speedo is out by 20kms and oil low light stays on but oil is full. I'm pretty sure these font have a speedo cable? So I'm thinking either is a sensor on transmission or the mechanic that played with the cluster may have changed the internals of the cluster and moved the needle. Any help or advice would be much appreciated. Cheers
